Oh, must have missclicked. Sorry for the confusion!

I had all of these reviews up to SON OF SUN, when I realized that I didn't download videos. I was using the Steam Community browser (because the setup I'm using doesn't like windowed mode, I have to do it this way, or SM will gradually creep down the screen after each alt-tab). So I exited SM, downloaded the SON OF SUN video, and then I realized my mistake.

So sorry if these are not very detailed.

Chirumiru Cirno: 6/10. I thought it was kinda boring. The jump patterns killed it for me.

Creeping Up The Backstairs: 9/10. Solid file, good competition. I feel like it was slightly offsync in some parts, but it was barely noticable and this is a live BPM song so it's most likely going to be somewhat offsync in parts.

Flight of the Battery: 8/10. It has good rhythms, but I'm concerned about the patterns on pad.

Imaginary Friends: Expert - 8/10. Good rhythms, but I'm concerned about the step placement on pad.
Challenge - 7/10. The rhythms were good, but the step placement (especially jump streams) would be good to look at.
Overall - 7.5/10.

Move Your Body: Expert - 10/10. Best chart of the week, everything works so well.
Challenge - 10/10. I lied. This is the best chart of the week. Hard and fun at the same time.
Overall - 10/10.

naughy girl@Queen's Palace: Expert - 8/10. Pretty good and fun chart.
Challenge - 5/10. This seems like a case of "trying too hard to make it difficult."
Overall - 6.5/10.

New Lights: 6/10. It was okay... At times I felt like not enough was being done and at other times I felt like too much was being done. The slowdowns and pauses work wonderfully though.

Open Up To Me: 9/10. I loved this, very great rhythms. Doublesteps may be there, but I'm not gonna dock points for that here.

Right There, Right On: 8/10. This was good, except maybe some step placements, and the stops. The stops just don't fit.

SON OF SUN: Expert - 9/10. Pretty good, nothing makes this stand out from the rest, but I could see it going in a DDR game. One with good charts.
Challenge - 10/10. I can't tell if anything stands out here, but something must as I liked this better than Expert.
Overall - 9.5/10.

Space Space Shiooter (AKBK 'DJ Command' Remix): 8/10. I felt like this one had clusters of arrows and then clusters of nothing. Still good though.

Take My Life: 9/10. Fairly good balance of difficulty. Really liked this one.

This Kiss: 9/10. Good mid-difficulty file. Not a standout, but I like it.

u9: 9/10. I actually like this quite a bit. Although it seems to end on an uneven bar... I don't like this

Valanga: 7/10. The beginning felt weird, although it was still decent. Maybe it's overstepped?

I would do both of those, but I'm currently running a dual monitor setup on two different video cards/chips (onboard & discrete), so it works best in fullscreen. I've had many crashes with Photoshop, even running it on my primary monitor (the one connected to the discrete video card). This shouldn't be a problem next round as I am getting a new monitor to replace the CRT I've been using (I only meant it to be a stand-in until I get a better monitor).

Space Space Shooter remix felt less planned to me than Open Up To Me did. Some of the patterns in SSS were not entirely clear about which foot to start them on, and the difficulty spikes aren't very smooth. (This is a solid 10, lol). That's not to say Open Up To Me is without fault, though: it got left-facing towards the end, and there were uncued doublesteps in the chorus that could cause trouble.

This is a tough pair to vote on. Imaginary Friends has a bunch of doublesteps that create some weird-as-hell movement if not discovered in time. I'm not sure I like either of the charts all that much, but booooy oh boy can you guys pick music

Uh, Take My Life is kind of twisty. Like, really twisty. Not a fan of the spin in the triplet section, either; there wasn't much setup at all for it and it was fast. If you're going to play with a lot of crossovers, use them for more intense portions of music, or do them slower/faster as necessary, but don't scatter them everyplace. Also, I see you copypastin'! Oppan gangnam style.
SON OF SUN, hilariously enough, competes strongly on the crossover front, and I think it does a better job of using them at appropriate places. The only thing I really have to say about SON OF SUN is the 12ths - I can barely hear that instrument with the rest of the rhythm section and bass synth coming back in.
I flipped back and forth on giving Blinded a pity point; I'm honestly surprised that this is the round with the largest divide. I feel like the quality is closer in this pairing than most

I really liked Creeping Up the Backstairs because it held my interest throughout. Not sure about the jacks in the end - 245 is a bit fast and they didn't add a whole lot to the feel of the chart. Your Love Is My Drug is nice but there's just not much to it.

I liked where Right There, Right On was going, but I think you leaned on copypasta too much, and the spins weren't very well structured. Also that stop section was pretty "what", but I picked it up fast. Still probably one of the best Scarz files I've played to date. The first minute of the Flight of the Battery felt like filler, and it wasn't until about the halfway point that I actually latched onto the rhythms in the chart; but when it got going, it got better.

Move Your Body feels very ITG official to me. In fact, it feels specifically like Hardcore Symphony - very twisty 8ths and non-twisty 16ths. It's not a bad song, but it does get repetitive quite fast. Cute gimmicks (although the non-color-correct waves keep messing me up!) This Kiss suffered more from song choice (not much to do besides karaoke step the whole thing) and less from pattern choice.
Personally I feel like I'd have more fun playing Move Your Body, but objectively it's not easy to decide.

Imaginary Friends CDP: Some really cool ideas - the first few measures had the interesting effect of moving more on the sharper drum hits. In general, you just need to be far more conscientious about avoiding doublesteps. Also, keep in mind that after a jump, the right foot will usually go an arrow to the right, and the left foot will most likely be used to hit an arrow to the left of the jump position. This chart needs some cleanup but it's not bad, considering I haven't seen any double work from you at /all/ before.
Space Space Shooter (AKBK 'DJ Command' Remix) EDP: Feels a lot like the new official 14s (this is a mostly good thing haha) There were a couple doublesteps on the left pad where your left foot had to move from some arrow to 1L. The rest of the patterns were not too bad.
Open Up To Me EDP: Looks like it'd be a lot of fun on pad. The 2D → 1D stretch at the end is a bit much and some of the 16ths felt out of place (especially after playing your ESP chart) but the patters were good and the rap worked very well.
Take My Life EDP: I've looked at beat 27, 179, and 271 a few times now and I'm convinced most people fall off the pad trying to do those spins. Watch your 16ths outside of the main riff; in almost every case, you should only have a cluster of three notes (red-yellow-blue or blue-yellow-red) and not five or (gasp) seven. I do really like your use of crosspad runs though, if I don't necessarily agree with where all you've put them - see my notes on the single chart - and your sense of movement seems to be well-developed in this chart, so props to you for that and keep doing what you're doing. But don't copypaste as much (or switch U/D arrows like the cool kids do ツ)
Valanga EDP: Much more sensible than the single chart. I already spoke to you about the jacks and I still think they're rude, but now I'm wondering why you removed 16ths and 12ths in the following section (x-x---x-x---x-x---x-x---xxxxxxxxx) to make those stretch crossovers work. It's not consistent and it strikes me as weird. Overall extremely complex (maybe too complex) but looks fun.
SON OF SUN EDP: Legit. I'd play this on pad. The freezes starting at b208 rub me slightly wrong being all on quarter notes, and moving to 2U at b177 is a bit jarring, and some of the stretches in the streamier parts are a little stretchy, but other than that, nice work Ama-tan (y)

A candle is when a foot has to move across the middle of the pad, e.g. LDURDUL It's hard to do this movement as fast as LDURUDL because you have to change direction.

also, some files abuse the shit out of this to make their streams harder, with patterns like LDLUDRURDUL (see pandemonium).

Candle stream is exponentially more tiring to pad than stuff like LDURUDL and LRDRLRDR (just tap these out with your fingers or something). The direction the player is facing (and how often [and how intensely!] they have to CHANGE direction) is something you should consider at all times when writing stepcharts because sometimes it has the power to make charts feel like they go to the music or not.

Karaoke-style charts are cool. They're not fun when everyone does it. Only a few were entertaining.

Imaginary Friends D fun. Rather gap heavy though.

Open Up to Me D very holic-y. reminds me of some 2nd mix chart whose name I can't remember
Open Up to Me D I want to move to this song, but the chart doesn't let me. You could have stepped to the hihat on certain sections instead of the synth to allow more variety and flow between the spikes in difficulty.

Son of Sun D as I said with your standard chart, you could have done more to make the player move around. It's an energetic song. This song demands movement. I'd rate it an 8.

Space Space Shooter Remix D odd stretches you have going there. Not that they're bad. They just stick out since the rest of the chart has you facing the screen the whole time.
Space Space Shooter Remix D I'm not a big fan of those 16th notes where the singer "space space shooter go blah blah blah (go)" I'd rate this song an 8 derp, I was thinking differently when rating it. It's fine as a nine.

Take My Life D don't listen to those scrubs, those spins are fine. It also works better that you copy+paste+mirror the parts so that it shouldn't catch a smart player off-guard. too much 16th notes at the end though.
