We thank you all for the patience! We are deeply apologetic for the extended wait time to release the new music pack! The jukebeat international team is not very many members, and we are working hard to bring more new and exciting music to you the players!
Aww, I'm glad they posted that, I am satisfied.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if our next update isn't a new pair of song packs but a new theme (knit and/or copious). I just found a circle noteskin I want to try further but it clashes horribly with the ripples background (since they're all circles).
Still trying to find a good noteskin for clear visibility order and timing...

Rise Against is a very nice addition. And yes, I didn't know about them until GH3.

What are the odds of us getting a Michael Jackson pack? I'd be all over that! xD

It depends on how expensive the songs are and if Konami can afford them.Post #167 · Posted at 2011-10-25 09:28:08am 13.6 years ago

Has anyone else noticed that the Rise Against pack and the KONAMI Music Pack 04 have both taken down their status as "NEW"? Maybe the US is in for another few song packs in the near future... Though, I don't want to speak too soon, and I'm happy with my Help Is On The Way and AIR RAID FROM THA UNDAGROUND, so I'm not complaining.

I wonder if they'll make us wait a full 39 days again before releasing more packs, it's been 24 days and counting...

That can't good. How does this compare to the japan version?

Correction, we got two packs in October while Japan got 5 packs in September.

Wow, I guess this isn't anything new. The different country's vs japan songs has always been slow. Can you buy the japan version with a japan itunes account and just buy/play the songs?
(edit: While buying the US songs. I still want to suport the game here)

Yes you can if you have a Japanese iTunes account which requires a credit card registered to a valid Japanese address...

Actually you don't need a credit card to get a Japanese iTunes account.
Just be logged off of your iTunes account and search for Jubeat in either iTunes on your computer or via the App store on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. Make sure you select Japan (日本) in iTunes. Once you found Jubeat, just download it. You will then be asked to either log in or create a new iTunes account. Do a Google search for setting up a Japanese iTunes account for more help with setting up a Japanese account. Also. If you have a Gmail attached to your original iTunes account, you can add "-jp" at the end of your username and it'll still go to your original Gmail. Example. If your Gmail is johnsmith@gmail.com, you can enter johnsmith-jp@gmail.com and it'll still go to your actual Gmail account. Smart move there, Google. ^^
For adding money into your Japanese iTunes account. You can buy Japanese iTunes gift cards from the link provided in this post and they will email you the code on the back.

Thanks for the info. It really helped.
My jaw dropped when I saw all the songs that were available for the Japan version. *sigh*

Well you have to consider that the Japanese version has been out for about 9 months before the international version.

The game has been released just over three months, if you compare what's been released since 3 months for both regions:
jubeat plus: 15 packs
jukebeat: 8 packs
So yeah, we're lagging behind as per usual.

I recently purchased an iTunes Gift card and bought 3 KONAMI music packs. Unfortunately, my prepaid load is not enough for me to buy the last KONAMI music pack at the moment. I'll buy it when the next update comes(hoping it would be soon)
As for the licenses, I find it weird that most or all of them fall into the rock genre. I wish they would release a song pack full of licensed techno, trance, or disco. That would make me consider buying my first American/British License pack. The limited songlist actually helped me to improve my gameplay and I can do level 7s now.
Question though: I currently have iPod Touch atm. But I'm expecting an iPad 2 as a gift sometime next year. Question is, If I use my iPad and my iTunes account, Will I able be to download jukebeat and get all of my purchased songpacks on the iPad?

"I really want to hurt you." |
Nope, sorry.
I have 2 iPads on the same iTunes account and I had to buy each song pack twice to get all the songs on both iPads.
