I think there is an error on pierce the sky expert. In the beginning where there are jump stops on of them is a freeze if I recall but the chart doen't have that.

the standard length for sample length is actually exactly 15 seconds (based from PS2 SN2 and up rips).

hard to lip-sync the video of "Only my Railgun"
the video starts ~-4,5 seconds before measure 1.

In my post, I already said the video starts one full measure before the music. aka, 4 beats. aka, negative something.

(-4.000 surprisingly works fine in my sm-ssc with hacked CyberiaStyle 6 lol. Probably won't work in 3.9 with DDR X or SuperNOVA themes (and a few more))

If that doesn't work, you can use VirtualDub in direct stream mode to chop off the video before the music starts. The music should start on the 2nd scene change in the avi (frame 60).


EDIT / ATTN: For those making X2 sm files, please set your measures correctly. Quite a few sims, for example "only my railgun", are starting on beat 3 of each measure instead of beat 1.

I can't believe I didn't notice this for days.

Somebody failed with Be Your Wings.

The steps are on beat but the offsync is WAY OFF! It should be -3.57 (or somewhere around that), not -1.7.

I was playing this and noticed that, while the notes were on beat, they weren't in the right place.

Actually I think you'll find quite a few more files than just "Be Your Wings" that need a correction like that.

I'm using ssc and latest build of stepmania, and the video sync i checked is -4.5 seconds (aprox.)

The units of BGChanges are beats, not seconds... (and it should be exactly 4 beats before the music starts).

Well, most of the current files were fine when I played them on my Flux, but there were a few that I noticed that needed to be changed a tad in their offsync, which I posted earlier.

the game pad has its own response delay.
Try to adjuste the delay.
There's an option in StepMania who says "PadDelaySeconds" (or someone like that)
adjust it

DDR X2 simfile database updated:

- Be Your Wings (movie offset fixed; added one measure advance together with song offset and stepchart)
- only my railgun mp3 updated (cut by neotheone); BG movie added.

Thanks to everyone who worked on graphics and videos. These look so good in sm-ssc, it puts most of Konami's presentation work to shame.

Yes, i already noticed that, it was off-sync...

anyway, the only songs (in my part) i prefer to include in the database are either with clear line-outs and official mp3. Let's hope for the new clearer line-outs coming from players in the game arcades. For now, those can be temporary placed in this thread and when the clearer line-outs available, your simfile will be uploaded right away.

I'm looking for the full mp3 song for Decade. If somebody like to share it, pm me.
