here:

http://www.interupload.com/files/0CLZ40MC/StepMania3.9_REDUX.rar_links

this is Stepmania 3.9 "PATCHED ALREADY" with Redux... no further patching needed... the main program (after install) is located under PROGRAM directory of StepMania.

Edit: it is all complete with DDRX noteskins (vivid, note, flat & rainbow), predefined settings, DDR EXTREME AC frame-based timing window in configuration file and DDRX scoring behavior, etc.

Hey sillybear, is it okay if I PM you with a question regarding something in this theme, it kinda involves something which I've been trying to do on another theme and I can't figure out how to do it. Also thanks alot for making this theme for us, let's hope someone can figure out how to get the freaking song wheel on it's side for a theme of the arcade version of X2.

Song wheel on its side is easy. Showing backgrounds on the select music screen is also easy. It's combining the two to make a background wheel that sadly isn't.

i already tried that but my main problem now is how to rotate the banners (except the highlighted one) horizontally... opposite to each other... they still display flat at a constant distant to each other...

It's slow as garbage. I learned this the hard way back when Renard and I were working on MGD3; I had tried a background wheel, but it's ungodly slow. Renard ended up making the banners out of the backgrounds (with more legible text). If you're going to have decent performance, you're going to have to use banners.

yes... that's it...

so i have no choice but to change the original 3d wheel type to new type ala DDR X2 AC for my DDR X2 SM4 version... I still can't fix the 3d wheel issue in SM4 Alpha 5... I left this issue among others that were completed now... I hope for the new image DDRX2 AC rips coming...

thanks you very much for the link tip...

Edit: how about for the Alpha 5 version of SM4? it seems like it only worked under alpha 1 to 4 of SM4... the banner images still keep inverting in some places in Alpha 5...

EDIT #2: Oh, it's AJ from sm-scc! i feel lucky!...

Awesome work!

Could you make that when you break the combo, the combo counter turns white (or red) instead of green again?
Also, when you get the extra stage the song the game chooses doesn't appear in red.

Combo counter color - It can be done in StepMania 4 but not in 3.9

In the DDR X Rev 4.0 theme when you break the combo the combo counter turns red, so I think it can be done?

That actually used to happen on earlier versions of the theme. Heck, even Takuya's X theme does it correctly.

No, That is not possible in 3.9+, the SN2 scoring system, it's only to recreate the Original game..
but if u want to get AAA with 990.000+ doing greats and missingnotes, it can't be possible

You can temporary change the difficulty meter from 18 to 20 by searching for [DifficultyMeter] at the metrics, and changing MaxFeetInMeter=18 and NumFeetInMeter=18 to 20.

in scoring type options:
SN1 ---> 8-digit score display
SN2 ---> 7-digit score display (also applies for DDRX1 and DDRX2)

in order for the score points and Grades behave like SN2 up to X2:

modify/update your stepmania.ini using notepad, just look and update to codes below:

GradePercentTier01=1.000000
GradePercentTier02=0.987500
GradePercentTier03=0.947500
GradePercentTier04=0.897500
GradePercentTier05=0.797500
GradePercentTier06=0.697500
GradePercentTier07=-99999.000000
GradeTier02IsAllPerfects=0
GradeTier02RequiresFC=0
GradeTier02RequiresNoMiss=0
GradeTier03RequiresFC=0
GradeTier03RequiresNoMiss=0
GradeWeightBoo=0
GradeWeightGood=0
GradeWeightGreat=49
GradeWeightHitMine=-100
GradeWeightHoldNG=0
GradeWeightHoldOK=100
GradeWeightMarvelous=100
GradeWeightMiss=0
GradeWeightPerfect=99
GradeWeightRollNG=0
GradeWeightRollOK=100

(notes: grade weights for rolls and mines are optional... rolls are exclusive for SM3.9 Plus REDUX only)

which will give you the following result (all computed, tested and done by myself through trial and error):

---for SN2 scoring type---
AAA - 990,000 to 1,000,000
AA - 950,000 to 989,999
A - 900,000 to 949,999
B - 800,000 to 899,999
C - 700,000 to 799,999
D - 600,000 to 699,999
E - 599,999 and below (failed)
