Wow. I... There are no words.

They're the X-edits. Which is actually really interesting because they obviously dropped the X-edit subtitle, so basically, the new cuts for the Dancemania revivals in X2 (If You Were Here, Dam Dariram, Captain Jack, etc) are considered to be X-edits as well most likely.

But then if we want them to be DLC they'd have to recut EVERY single Dancemania license.

Thank you, that confirms that they've dropped subtitles from all these remakes (Which I think is good) but still consider them to be different songs (DAM DARIRAM is in the X2 folder, not the 3rdMIX folder).

I just noticed that the vocal version of SEDUCTION is missing from the Ultimate Starter Pack, and it's supposed to have all the KOs in it. Hm.

It may have to do with the vocalist's untimely death last year and they are omitting the song out of respect.

I believe she passed away due to lung cancer.


Though I find it odd because she doesn't sound like a smoker in Seduction remix.

While it's sad, I really liked her voice, I fail to understand why pretending the song doesn't exist is "respectful" in any way to anyone. I don't recall stores removing all their Michael Jackson albums when he died. Quite the opposite, they sold like crazy.

In fact, belated as it is, in light of this news I'm going to play SEDUCTION (Vocal Remix) the next time I go the arcade in her tribute.

It's Konami we are talking about, not America. Konami has a tendency to do things that don't make sense. I will miss the song though. It has a nice doubles chart.

Indeed it does, I sure hope this doesn't mean it's getting cut from the arcade from now on. It is on X2, isn't it?

Well, one thing you can do is scroll down to the original pack it was included in in the DDR Store and see if it is still available through that. It's quite possible that Konami omitted the song from the starter pack by mistake.

It's still on X2. I'm going to go see if they took it out of the pack now...

I personally think a good example of this is relicensing the licenses from Extreme US to be in Festival when nobody really wanted them anyway.

I at least hope some of these license charts get DECENT challenge charts WITHOUT shock arrows.

Or even better, putting EXUS's Waiting For Tonight in the SuperNOVA2 machine.

For anyone that wants this and doesn't have the money to do so, the app is now free. I don't know how long it'll stay that way but I assume it won't be for more than a week.

I'm actually betting on it staying free for a few months, or at least until DDR PS3/360 comes because that seems like it will be a CS version of this sorta.

Maybe because they're preparing to release DanceDanceRevolution T or something, a tie-in with X2 like how S was a tie-in with X.
