Not the latest, this is several months old. I don’t know how to compile, razorblade sent this to me in a pm. I’m not sure why he doesn’t just post a link instead of telling people to go to GitHub where they have to compile it.

You could also try ITGmania. It’s a new fork just a couple weeks old branched from 5.1-new. They claim it has full compatibility with all previous SM5 themes but I haven’t tried it with anything but simply love yet.

But most people don’t know how to compile from GitHub. You bring this up every couple months and that hasn’t changed. People would use it if it was provided.

Here is a freshly compiled SM5.1 (zip only). All github commits applied up to June 16, 2022 (latest as of this writing). It's a 64-bit program since it was generated via VS 2019.

Hey yall, first time poster here! Made this account just now to share my edits to this theme for White Cab A3 :)

I also wanted to make the account to say thank you SO much for this amazing theme. I've been using it for the past month and I have loved every bit of it!

TO INSTALL EDITS
- Drop the 'Themes' folder into your SM folder and it should replace any files needed, assuming you did not rename the 'DDR A3' folder
- If you have renamed the folder, then just copy the necessary files within my 'DDR A3' folder and place it in your renamed folder.
- Depending on the version of SM you are running, you may have to go into Themes\DDR A3\BGAnimations\ScreenWithMenuElements background to delete or remove the two png files for blue and gold, otherwise you will keep running into errors about having multiple files. The two mp4s should be there from my folder to replace the pngs.


All I did was take the assets from the base White Cab theme and recolored them to match(or at least very closely match) what I've seen in videos of A3. Also included is the animated background for both White and Gold Cab!

Beautiful Theme, I love it!

I am having one problem though. I am running Stepmania on a Korean 3rd mix machine, and when I go to song options, it defaults to .25x and if I select another speed, it just ignores it, and plays the song at a slow scroll.

Also when pushing the green button, it just exits out of the options menu instead of going to the next option, even though under Input Options, Options Navigation is set to arcade style and Menu Navigation is set to 3 key.

I also have the DDR A20 theme installed, and that theme works fine.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Edit: I managed to fix the speed mod problem by changing back to Stepmania style navigation and to five key menu navigation. Not what I intuitively would have thought the problem to be. I would still love to see an 3 key arcade style navigation implemented for the options menu, but at least it's playable now!

This is awesome work, Limen! Looks very close to the real thing as far as the video covers. One question though, did you perhaps accidentally put the wrong files in the download? Most of the assets were unchanged when I downloaded and extracted them onto the "DDR A3" Theme folder.

I am running into another glitch.

The log in / loading profile screen is in the wrong place for me.

It only pops up If I select Versus Play.

In other videos that have been posted, it seems that the load profile screen is in the correct spot.

Did I somehow mess this up, or is it a glitch with the current build?

Edit: Also second player can not join where is says "Press button to play together!" on Select Style screen. P1 has to select Versus Play.

You're absolutely right!! It would seem that through my lack of sleep and rush to get this finished, I left out a TON of assets hahaha. They should have been in the right folders. It's just that I forgot to include some of them entirely, so that's a woopsie on my part.

If there's still any asset missing, just let me know! If there are any different versions anyone wants as well, I can make the edits. The loading screen between choosing a song and playing for instance is a different color than the official version just because I like it a bit more than the yellowish glow in official's version.

I just spent a little over an hour with the latest 5.1 new and Limen's mod on this theme and everything is both working and looking great. You guys rock.

THEME UPDATE: 20220701

Update highlights:

- Changed all sound-related files to OGG and normalized the bitrate to 44.1kHz, this should mitigate the crashes on the new OutFox release and give an overall minor performance boost.
- Added more information on the GitHub page, that specifies the supported builds and with download links said builds (thanks to Razorblade for the 5.1-new build <3).

I tried using the 5.1, the new theme update from Github and overwriting it with Limen's assets and now I'm getting a lot of these ThemeManager errors. Did I miss anything?

I fixed these ThemeManager errors by deleting the old files that didn't get replaced which the ThemeManager errors are describing as having more than one match.

Updated to the theme and noticed a lot of assets from my pack weren't loading up right anymore so I went ahead and updated them to work with 20220701, along with adding whatever else was missing. Also went ahead and trimmed the size a good bit by only including any files I actually edited this time around, and not leaving the originals in the pack anymore.

This time around, I did end up trying to make it much closer to White Cab A3, which I think makes it feel even closer to the official version now.

New update is awesome as always. Also, I noticed that clearing Tohoku EVOLVED (or Outbreak/COVID from DDR XX) doesn't trigger the usual "Pray for All" message anymore. Was this forgotten?

Awesome theme as always! I have a question with the Gauge. It seems that the gauge setting only sticks as long as i play the same song, as soon as i go to another, it sets back to Normal. Is that how it is supposed to work?

hmm, that's weird, it works perfectly fine in my end, what build are you using?
