Well, I got my laptop to turn on, but I didn't do anything different, so I highly doubt the problem is actually gone. Now I'm scared to death to turn my computer off.
I'm looking forward to spending about 90% of the day backing all my crap up.

Yes it is.Quote: Zukin-Man

The reason I'm saying WHAT NO is because wooden coasters don't usually have a layout like that. The element you see in the picture is either a Stengel Dive (a crazy overbanked turn) or a Zero-G roll.

I can't recall off the top of my head which wooden coaster it was but there have been looped coasters and crazy bends in wooden coasters before. I used to be into coasters like crazy but that was years ago.

Yes, few wooden coasters had loops (I think there was only one), but never were there rolls or dives like this.

I was lost until I realised that the track wasn't fully built yet.
Still, looks deliciously mental on a wooden coaster.

Gotta love ghost-in-the-machine issues.
I wouldn't fret about your data, it doesn't sound like the hard drive was ever at risk. If the computer up and dies you can just take the drive out of the notebook and plug it into another machine to get at your stuff.

I'm aware, but considering my history with computers, nearly everything remotely threatening becomes a warning to back stuff up.
Years ago, when I had to use my mom's computer(s), and she thought there might be a problem, she'd bring it to a repair shop without letting me know first, and their solution was always "wipe it". Data all gone.
Then she says she'll be getting a new computer within a week. Apparently, that means "I'm getting a new computer today" and she tosses out the old one before I can copy my stuff. Data all gone.
I start backing all my stuff up on my grandfather's computer. It's not a particularly great computer, but it doesn't need to be; it's a spare storage box. Hurricane Katrina hits and floods the whole house. Data all gone.
I move out and buy my own computer. Stuff happens to it and I can't even start it without wiping the hard drive and at the time, I wasn't aware of the ability to pull the hard drive out and use a USB-SATA drive cord to get the stuff out, so I bring it to a computer repair shop to get it wiped. They ask for a list of all the folders I want saved before they start the process. I provide a list. They ignore 80% of it. Data nearly all gone.
Get another computer. It overheats. It overheats bad. Even after acquiring the know-how and the cord to transfer stuff from the hard drive, some files have been damaged because of the overheating. Data mostly intact, but assorted files corrupted.
Yeah, pretty much everything becomes a "You should probably back stuff up" warning to me now.

Yes, few wooden coasters had loops (I think there was only one), but never were there rolls or dives like this.
There were a few back in the 1920s that had loops that were poorly designed. And there was also Son of Beast at Kings Island which had a loop made out of steel (with the track itself being the typical wood coaster track). It closed in 2006 due to a major accident (a partial support collapse IIRC). The loop was removed because the new, lighter trains they got couldn't make it through. And now it's been closed since 2009 because "the riding experience is not satisfactory," which in other words means it's a huge liability. I actually saw a rumor that it's going to be removed to be replaced with a new coaster.I'm surprised people think this is a good idea publicity-wise.

That makes me really angry for some reason.

When I was at Timezone two days ago, I decided to play TECHNIKA 3. And I played Whiteblue, Be Right Back and Colours of Sorrows and I thought "Hey, these song will be cool on IIDX!" And then I passed my first Level 7.
