Pride cometh before a fall.
Also, as of Friday, my mom's chemotherapy has been reduced drastically because of her improving health. Another little nice milestone there.

Going into an exam with roughly 45 minutes of light study. YEAH!
Seriously though, I had no intentions for that to happen. University course registration is by far the most awful, annoying, and disorganized process ever. Took me 7 hours to get my courses all in line and without conflict
That pretty much canned any plans of studying this afternoon and evening.

Had no idea what the hell you were talking about until I checked x360a.org and found out that ME3's Extended Cut DLC came out today. Haven't downloaded it yet (2GB fuck that, I'll do it later), but I read some guy's rant on it. He made a whole wall of text about stuff he found wrong, but he included a tl;dr list at the end. I found it especially interesting because he seems to have made a lot of the same decisions I made in my own game.
(Under the conditions of Paragon-Shep, romanced Tali, Max EMS, "Red" ending)
So here is list of things wrong with the ending.
- Tali gets life threatening wounds that would kill any quarian and lives
- TIM still appears out of nowhere and the first part of being on the Citadel still does not add up
- We were never told that firing the Crucible would kill everyone on the Citadel.
- Hackett orders everyone to leave for some unknown reason
- We somehow manage to fix the Relays and the Citadel without having any knowledge on how these devices even work.
- Normandy is hit by the beam and still crashes
- STILL FUCKING IMAGES
- Your decisions still never fucking mattered
- Shepard and the Quarians live even though Destroy kills all synthetics
- Geth are not even mentioned in the ending
- Rachni, Drell, Hanar, Volus, Batarians, Salarians, and Turians are not mentions in the ending.
And this is only after playing one of the 3 endings. I can't WAIT to see what bullshit is in store for me when I do Blue and Green.
Yeah, I'll download it myself and make my own conclusions, but kinda putting it off because I don't want to have to wait for a 2GB download right now.

Some people have already made their mind up to be disappointed no matter what. Case in point, half that list is simply dead wrong just from watching the first handful of videos up'd to YouTube. The rest is opinion and conjecture. Oh well. I had a few "um..."s with the original (and extended) endings but it's not enough to make me dislike the endings/game/series/production team/bunny rabbits/et cetera.
The original version of the endings being vague and confusing was the result of EA rushing the game out the door at worst, and the result of people just unwilling to use their noggins at best. Either way, Bioware did what most other companies wouldn't have ever bothered to do, no matter the response. They didn't even change anything, they just did all the thinking for us. Now there's nothing vague about it, no way someone could watch the (now four) different endings (and their many variations based on series-wide choices) and say they "don't understand" or "nothing changed except the color".
I'm hearing that instead of just appending new content to the game, they actually went through and made slight alterations and additions to the dialog and scenes leading up to the end. I also noticed some of the music got redone. Just proves how half-assed everything Bioware does is
. Nevermind all the feels picking Synthesis gives you. It turns out the alternate Indoctrination Theory I came up with immediately after finishing the series (Where Shepard is being guided, not controlled, by Catalyst itself down a path to be allowed to make an individual choice (Synthesis being the best, most selfless choice)) still holds up against all the new definitive info Bioware added.
It's just a game... but it's just a great game. Now even greater. Just make a DLC for re-taking Omega from Cerberus and I'll be able to call ME3 the best game in the series... Until they re-release MASS EFFECT with the current gameplay engine.

I didn't take part of this griefing, but I helped him record this. Until I get an HD recorder by Hauppauge, this will have to do.

Still haven't played it. Currently downloading it, but it's only at 3% so far.
Aeron, you have to remember, not everyone is going to like this ending (haven't seen the EC yet, so as far as I'm concerned, there's still one ending) for genuine reasons, not just because they're butthurt and want to automatically hate everything Bioware makes, and you liking it puts you in the minority, so dismissing everyone else as imbeciles kind of makes you look like, well, a bit of a knucklehead.
Think of the ending as black licorice. Not a lot of people like it, but there are some that do. However, you have to keep in mind that many of the people that don't like it honestly dislike the taste, not just because "it's not red licorice". It's even worse when we're promised multiple flavors of licorice, but SURPRISE they're all black. In addition, some people feel like the new DLC is just sugar-coating a turd, or in this case, putting a candy coating on black licorice, which if I'm not mistaken, was actually marketed as a product called Good & Plenty, which I don't recall any of my friends ever liking.
Again, I haven't gotten to the DLC yet (11% now), but watching you constantly praise the ending while claiming people that didn't like it aren't thinking or using their heads enough is just painful. You may see yourself as the only intellectual genius who can understand Casey Hudson's vision, but I just see a child running around the playground telling people they're idiots for not liking black licorice.
Also, there's the whole deal with you now admitting that the ending is vague and confusing, while you previously fought tooth and nail to say that anyone who didn't understand it wasn't thinking enough, but that's another matter.
