It looks like DDR X3 is DDR X2.5. Fortunately, the new KOs are great. Programmed Universe and Fever are really beautiful.

Duck means "Reharsal Mode" - A second player can play first stage of a song, in beginner (unless the song has only Challenge steps) or an edit data.

How to access?
Pro mode only = press DOWN on the pad twice when select mode (Single player only).

Pros:
* A lot of practice
* Play challenge-only stepcharts or edit data on 1st stage.
* some free-stylers uses reharsal to practice.

Restrictions:
* Reharsal is disabled if the player selects a course, or is Beginner Mode or 2ndMix Mode.

Play with the duckie.
Reharsal Mode is enabled by default and cannot be disabled (not even by operator menu), so, you cannot kill the duckie.

If you play edit or challenge data in duckie mode, the chart has cut on so it's not the full chart.

Another thing. For unpatched DDR X, You can play FULL Edit Data (Uncut) even on the duck side

oddly, when i dumped DDR II images, the ducky was not present. (xD)
Reharsal mode = Ducky mode.

Graphically, DDR II has the plus this time, some of its graphics got ported to X3, also with some character outfit.

Apart from that, the return of 2ndMix gives a big boost to this game, making the return of old players.
Graphically: Why the dance characters looks so tiny? - also, the BGChanges looks cool on HD.

I don't think X3 is coming to the west, at least not how it is currently.

Actually, I just thought of this: maybe we don't know all of X3's licenses. As in, there could be more than 6 licenses on November 30th. Songs can easily be added via e-Amuse updates.

I have hopes for X3 coming out in America. However, I think it is very unlikely with the shitty sales Betson has probably seen from both X and X2.

So you have hopes or not?

Anyone seen the end credits for this game?
There's like three guys supplying all the videos on YT and I'm not sure who to bother... o_o;

AFAIK, this is exactly what happened when XG and V7 came out.

GF&DMXG came out first, and on the day of V7 release, seven more licenses got unlocked.

Currently the license section is pretty small, but we can assume at least some of the 2ndMIX licenses will be unlockable as they are available in course mode.

Were they cut and dry licenses or were they the recent trend of pseudo we-don't-know-who-owns-what-licenses/KOs?
