Just logged in to find out I cannot add or update any arcades anymore. Why is this?

I got several complaints of you editing arcades removing machines that were still there, so I would like an explanation before I turn your editing privileges back on.

The two machines listed here are still in the arcade.

To add on, on your ZiV profile it says you've only visited 3 arcade locations but have edited numerous across the UK, with additions or removals that haven't actually happened. How do you get your info on arcade changes?

To be fair it is possible they just haven't clicked on the "have visited this arcade" button, but yeah randomly deleting games that haven't gone anywhere is weird

I get my info on arcade changes based on images and videos on what's inside a arcade. As soon as I know what's in the arcade, I edit the arcade with this information.

Right, but it would be helpful if you went to the arcade in person, or even take photos or record videos yourself, no?

If you're just going by photos/videos of arcades (which might not be up to date), you're potentially spreading misinformation, which is against the rules.

I know that. I'll update arcades whenever I can, but not spread misinformation. I used Pinball Map and searched for Funland and The Beatles & Mandalorian weren't there and I deleted them even though they were still in the arcade. I think someone needs to add them back in.

Those two pinball machines are actually present in the arcade. They're listed in ZIv's arcade database, but not in Pinball Map. So, instead of adding those games to Pinball Map, you delete them from the arcade location listing in ZIv?

I did delete them by accident, as they were still in Funland London. I forgot to add them back in

I don't know if using video and camera footage is the best route. Sometimes, they shuffle machines around, so it can be misleading. It would be best to only make these changes if you've either been to the arcades or know someone who can confirm.

Why didn't you update Pinball Map, instead?

I know that. I must have accidently deleted the games and forgot to add them back in. That's why I got suspended from adding and updating arcades.
