To be fair, one unlock code comes out every six weeks. The due date for the next one is October 9th, so I'd be a little more patient.

I would assume that one of the ten or so times you hit an arrow successively it double-registers, even if for only about 1/100th of a second? (or 1/60th of a second, if it runs at 60 FPS? I would assume arcade cabs run faster though) If you're having trouble on excellent pads, I can't wait to try it on our mediocre pads!

I would just wait until code 5 comes out, really. And hope it's not a stupid BS code like 4 was, too.

BTW dahrkdaiz, did you ever release your uberly-awesome SMB3 hack? It was looking amazing last time I checked (I heard your HDD failed at one point, though...?), but I haven't been to Acmlm's in a long time, so...

Yea, I have not been back to GameWorks to try it out. They finally got it to working afte 3 months of being broken, Now I cant even play right, played to much PIU, lol.

I may try again later this week, see whats up. I just dont care to play Pluto Relinquished, that song is insane and should be banned, it not even fun to play unless on standard...I guess I am getting old or just lazy, lol

Wait, wait. I can understand saying the song is insane, but claiming it should be "banned" just because you're not good enough to do well on it (for the record, neither am I)? I hope you're kidding.

PR has a play count of 200 on my itunes, lol. Love the song, but those heavy steps are too much for me. Dont want to exert that much energy to play 1 song. I just sit back at watch ther people play it.

Maybe one day I will try it......Nah thats ok maybe difficult and thats it, Id rather play Uranus, its fun, or Captivate, fun songs to play, and passable....Get what I am saying

Well, fun is relative. I can't pass Pluto Relinquish because of my crappy stamina, but I still find it fun. On the other hand, I'm not too hot on CaptivAte ~Chikai~. I've played it a few times, and it's just not winning me over for some reason (even though I recognize that it's a good step and a sweet song).

Also, I don't know if this location has been added already, but it deserves special mention: Denjin Arcade in Simi Valley, CA. The reason it's special is because it's a Japanese, eAMUSE-equipped machine. The eAMUSE features don't work, of course, but everything in the game was unlocked in Japan before the arcade owner imported the board, meaning that it's the only machine in the country (I think) with every single feature -- all songs (including Groove Radar specials), courses, characters, and mods -- unlocked. It beats even Brunswick Naperville's American eAMUSE-equipped machine.

Yep, everything all the way up to Pluto Relinquish is available for normal play... it's pretty awesome. Anyone who lives in the area should definitely check it out. I'm lucky enough to live 20 minutes away.

I have excellnt stamina, I just dont have the drive to try and push for PR. So I leave it to the pros.
Every song is not for everyone, I mean I like to play DropOut, which isnt very hard, but really fun to play.
Cant forget about Arrabbiata, I love that song, not on , my body dont like those odd twists and turns.
Wish they would have brought back So Deep

@ Maverick: EEWWHUUAAA? is there any chance you can get pictures of this "imported" machine?

I believe there might be one or two more that I've seen on YouTube. (I guess it seems feasible that people can import the JP version now...)
