The steps I've seen don't have the jumps at the end.
Maybe you get that if you do the Extreme Nonstop glitch.

Of Drop Out Nonstop Megamix? Look it up on Extreme US CS. Those awkward jumps at the 16th note stream aren't there. I already pointed this out over here.

I always knew Arrabbiatta was a stupid chart made with the sole intent of being awkward and painful.
Come on now. Running sideways for most of the chart doesn't make it stupid.

I feel that it fits the song perfectly. The rhythm of the song and the step-chart itself is "belly-dancer"-ish. Granted, belly dancers don't normally play DDR... BUT WHEN THEY DO, tell them to play Arrabbiata.

I can get up to the running-sideways death stream before completely falling apart but it is a good chart in my opinion. It all goes to the beat and there's nothing awkward in the step pattern, except of course the random jump at the end of Arrabbiata

The insane double stepping forced by the middle stream is not fun and has no place in the chart. Spinning isn't fun that that speed. It destroys the flow of the song.

No wonder I can't get past that part.
I still think it's a good chart though. There are worse.

Wouldn't make a difference in the database seeing with the jump or not, the step count is exactly the same.
Whoops, I thought the second number for each song was the number of jumps. Is it actually the number of holds? (Where is the "documentation" for the database that explains this?)As for simfiles: If the difference is confirmed to be legitimate, what should we do to Arrabbiata's simfile? (Add an edit chart perhaps?)

I've seen stupid (Shades of Grey anyone?), but I always thought Arrabbiata was not stupid, but ridiculous, if only because of the 100 jumps on the

Huh, I would expect ddrUK's chartgen would have accurate steps for Drop Out fNSMM. The steps are listed as debuting in Max2, so maybe the steps were different then. o.o;

Arrabbiata is a "niche" stepchart: It's purpose is to use certain patterns in certain ways rather than to be "good".

I think Arrabbiatta is a good, challenging song since it veers away from the typical stepcharts yet still makes sense.
Do I hear Dead End Groove Radar Special?

Does the current drop out oni double contain the stupid jumps at the end?
I'll be too afraid to play

The one that is hosted on this site hasn't been updated yet. Also if you take a good look at Singles and Doubles, you can see that the Doubles charts skips about two beats. The jumps are what causes it to end on time with the music.

If he gets to defend FELMO, then I'm gonna defend DEGRS.

A lot of the double-stepping can be avoided by switching your feet in the right places, and some of the freezes are just full spins. The chart takes a lot of planning ahead, but there's less double-stepping than say, Daikenkai Oni.

Nope, that jump was never there. I played that song on SINGLE and DOUBLE on a 7thMIX and it was a pure stream both times.

Hey hey.
Let's get one thing straight.
I DON'T defend FELMO. No one can do that. I just like running around saying it's the hardest piece of crap to play on the legs known to mankind.
There's a difference.

As for DEGRS, I call it "old-school". I was playing some of the old stuff and was looking at the odd step patterns like they were crazy.
Granted, this bad boy makes you spin faster than the old stuff but the only thing that I have a problem with is the 16th jacks/ jumps.

I kinda like FELM
...
In fact I also kinda like NGO
except for the dumb 8th jump-step-jump sections
Dead End GRS though...no one can justify that, its complete garbage. However, it's not meant to be a serious chart.

From the view of a sight reader like me, old school style charts designed to make you spin are for people who only play a few songs, and can thus memorize all the songs they like. I dislike forced replaying in all its forms.

but dead end isnt a garbage chart. the problem with the community is that there are like 3 of us that have listened to the hand clap assist on this song. trust me, it makes perfect sense. step placement could have been better...
