"Give me a steady beat." |
Funny all this talk about mines... and not one mention of Guitar Hero. You strum anywhere where you're not suppose to and you get penalized. It's not as bad a rule as people seem to think but I do agree that personifying it as another graphical doodad is pretty cheesy.
I think it's good that Konami's moving to newer hardware to both bring the game up to par with IIDX (Strong possibility that they'll be using BemaniPC across the franchise in the near future) and to get arcade machines back into Europe.
Looking over at Bemanistyle it's pretty interesting that after nine years the "Dancing Stage" title will be dropped, Konami seemingly wanting to make the series more universal throughout the world and that's fine by me.
If for some reason the e-Amuse rollout gets stalled again and the next AC title gets put out before all the unlocks are revealed for SuperNova 2 I would think that they'd have the unlock codes structured like they did for Extreme; each successive code picks up any unlocks before it. Has anyone checked to see if unlock code 2 unlocks the songs and courses from code 1?

I think someone checked it, and Level 2 does unlock Level 1's content. I can't exactly confirm it though.
I really hope Konami keeps the content in this game more secret. SN2 would have been MUCH more exciting if we didn't know what we were getting every IR/Zukin Wars/Random unlock. Seriously...it would've been so much cool seeing unlocks as they came instead of knowing them all BEFORE the game was officially released.
Same with your CS games, Konami! We knew the entire SN2 US CS songlist long before it came out...

I agree that the CS list shouldn't be spoiled ahead of time. Arcade is different, though, since e-amuse makes updates more practical.

Anyone in the UK: a Jap. SN2 (fully unlocked) has popped up in Brean in Somerset.
Unfortunately it's on the other side of the country for me so I can't go. XD

I suppose importing is not the same as distributing.

How did it become fully unlocked? Codes or messing with operator things?

Unlocks stayed even when e-amuse was disconnected I believe.

Any machine which is online from 17 April 08 onwards, will have everything unlocked~
Just set the option to local mode (it will ask for a reboot) & then you will see all the unlocks. Hehe~

KONAMI! What are you doing?!?
My friend & i found out something weird about Arrabbiata D-
!!
The ending stream for J:A:A & A:A:A version got a stupid jump at the ending area!
J:A:A version feat. Yukina
Same with CS JP as well!
CS JP:

No wonder i'm having a hard time FCing it. I only did it once at the arcade =/
But,
The CS USA didn't have the jump!
CS USA:

So,
Can anyone who are playing the U:A:A version, please make a check on it? =(

Yeah I got told about a while ago. No idea why there's an extra jump in the Japan version.

I always knew Arrabbiatta was a stupid chart made with the sole intent of being awkward and painful.

The game database does not appear to reflect this difference. Should it be fixed now, or should we wait until v5 of the website is finished? Should I have made a separate post in the "database corrections" thread?

Ah, probably wait for V5; there's a lot of things changing in the database that will appear in V5.

I totally saw that stupid jump at the end when I played it two days ago on Double (on a US AC cab). I thought I was going crazy when I saw the jump, but I guess it is real.

Wouldn't make a difference in the database seeing with the jump or not, the step count is exactly the same.
