for X edit?

....please no...

ALTHOUGH if it was a "re-mixed" version a-la Dynamite Rave 2009 version, then i would rather have an X-edit than that...but i think it's looking more likely to be a rehashed version of the original song :/

Im wondering if If You Were Here has its original beginner through heavy steps?
Also, what does Gouryella sound like at around 2 minutes in? It sounds like a bemani song....

It sounds like Feelings Won't Fade(Extend Trance Mix) a little bit to me.

Its steps are inspired by, but not identical to the originals. They include freeze arrows. The song has been re-cut; it is apparently 'longer.'

It's very similar to i-revolution by Sota, but Tenshi came first. At least, that's what came to my mind.

The melody made me think of Malaca at some point, and also a Menu song from some DDR I can't remember which...

Also, System F is an alias of Ferry Corsten, which is what I think System SF comes from for Sota Fujimori. A nod at it at least.

Yes. IIRC, System F is one of Sota's favorite artists.Post #1709 · Posted at 2010-05-02 08:16:52am 15.2 years ago

Then why'd he have to have it changed to SySF? I don't even know how to pronounce that!
"SIS-eff" is how I say it.
Anyway, as I recall, Corsten himself requested the change when he learned of the music composed under System S.F., since some may misinterpret it as a collaboration with Corsten. This was around the licensing for SuperNOVA, when they were licensing L.E.F. for CS SuperNOVA U/C, so it kind of makes sense he only at that point be aware of System S.F. It was long ago though, I might be off here...

Really ? If You Were Here on X2 ARC ?

It was foretold in the DDR X/X2's master list (the text file on the game cd).
But what about the other songs, like that tribute to Mr. Borenstein (whatever the spelling may be)?

As far as I know of, the only references to IF YOU WERE HERE was in the DDR 2ndMIX section and DDR 4thMIX section. No new reference to it in X2's master list.

Would that affect the final cut and/or steps of the song (I don't think it's subtitled as 2010 Re-edit or something)?

At least a banner from an Ultramix song pack bore the pseudonym (i think Drop the bomb, Sota's remix).
