Wouldn't the list be better served if it only contained exact matches for the version of the song used? The Lets Groove in EXCEED SE was not the TIPS & TRICKS FEAT. WISDOME cover that was in 6thMIX, etc.
Ironically, from EXCEED SE, you missed A Little Less Conversation (Junkie XL Remix), which was also in DancingStage MegaMiX.

From here. Because I have the MJPEGs as a folder of individual frames, instead of making an .avi I just made a .gif in Photoshop. You can also easily turn the videos into animated gifs with certain programs.

Apparently, Desert Journey was planned for X3 but they delayed it for DDR2013 instead.
I went to eAmuse site and checked the song data. For 1stMIX ~ X2 they are sorted alphabetically (kinda), but X3 and DDR2013 are not. Looks like they are sorted according to the order they're added to the game. Here's a full listing:
As you can see, Desert Journey (428) is stranded among X3 stuff.
526 and 529 leads to an error when accessed. I think one of these is Burst The Gravity. No idea about the other one though.
(Also lol BEMANI Gakuen stuff is added before ACROSS WORLD)

Hmm, in a way, this kind of explains Elemental Creation being the accidentally leaked boss song, there must have been some fall-through in place that made it go to the last ID (at the time) when the internet disconnected (maybe the boss data was only given over the internet)

Wrong, that BGA design was already there since 2ndMIX/3rdMIX.
So in a way ITG actually stole that design from DDR.

Probably they didn't but they just kept silent. But then comes the ITG lawsuit (which was sparked by ITG releasing kits to convert DDR cabs to ITG cabs, IIRC), so I guess they have that covered.

Interesting little thing: The "mine" and all the other random animations that appeared in DDR back in the day were created by a company called Mega Graphics, Inc. (As credited by really old DDR games).
And it's less that In The Groove used the mine graphic and more that In The Groove used StepMania and just lightly reskinned the mine graphic.

I think that at one point there was a DDR Appearances thread that attempted to document stuff like this (Like DDR being seen in Yes Man, Grandma's Boy, Madonna's Hung Up video, etc.)

Did you know that in Japan's PlayStation Ver. of DDR 2ndReMIX APPEND CLUB VERSiON vol.2:

It seems that CLUB VER. in the database is using CLUB ANOTHER's audio. Thanks for noticing that. I'd rip the proper audio but I don't have any of the games that contain it.
Edit: I lied, I was able to rip it off of the Dreamcast CLUB VERSION disc: PARANOiA MAX ~DIRTY MIX~ CLUB VER.
For the simfile in the ZIv database, change the offset from -0.075 to -0.015.
