Nothing much. z-I-v has a turntable now, and some minor updates were made. Not sure if you were around when it happened, but NEPHILM DELTA was unlocked for DDR X3. The 5 voting threads have become two, which is much more tolerable. So, yeah. Welcome back.

There's always lag in Namco fighting games. This game's a huge improvement over all of the ones I've played, though. Basically, you get the same quality fight from a three-bar connection in this game that you would from a five-bar fight in SC4. There are occasional connection drops in Player Matches, but at least you'll still stay in the lobby when that happens.


I just got fifty-three wins with only one loss WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME GODDAMN

But seriously, as far as ridiculously good players goes, setting your search criteria to look for people closer to your level will usually help, but you still might get other people who are good at the game but just haven't increased their rank much yet. My one loss came from a pretty good Yoshimitsu player while I was going for the ranked Ezio achievement, and I think even if I had been using Pyrrha, he'd have given me a heck of a fight.


As long as Siegfried, Nightmare, and Kilik Xiba remain playable characters, there will always be cheap players. You just have to find a way to get around it. personally, I've noticed that most people who play range characters are awful at close combat, and since my main for this game is Pyrrha (the Sophitia of the game), finding a way in close and using attacks that switch up heights often RUINS them.

Oh, and speaking of cheap, remember that Ezio achievement I mentioned earlier? If you play ranked, expect a lot of Ezio players to rely on his crossbow way too much to try and get their achievement for ten ranked Ezio wins.
