Megaupload isn't what I would call the best file-sharing site. And there are only a hundred others to choose from.
I suppose you're right. But by the same token, it was one of the most trafficked ones, and it's sad to see it go.Post #16782 · Posted at 2012-01-20 06:34:38am 13.4 years ago

It also didn't do that "You must wait a billionty minutes before you download another file" thing that a lot of other sites do when you want to download more than one object.

Oh yes it did. The only worse offender is RapidShare. But I digress...

I hadn't seen it do that recently. I remember it used to do that back in the day, but last I saw that was months ago, and I don't tend to download in small doses.

You couldn't have multiple parallel downloads; however, you could start downloading something else as soon as the first file finished. It took 15 seconds (down from 45 seconds or a minute) to start a download, though.

So let's see...Now Anons have attacked the websites for the Department of Justice, the MPAA, the RIAA, Universal Music Group and now the White House.

Back from playing classic and modern Blitz. I did classic Blitz more than the modern version even though the N64 version caps at 30 frames per second (minor slowdowns in addition). The first two Blitz 2000 matches was one-on-one, while the third was full-on 4 player action. Hell, even a parent got into it and started busting heads, sacking a QB's ass, and butt-slamming after plays was over.
I love it when I bring back the old days of the 90's.

The N64 version of Blitz 2000 was better because it didn't have loading times.

The disadvantage on the N64 version is the limitations on the cartridge. Fewer lines by Tim Kitzrow than the PS1/Dreamcast versions is one example. Plus no FMVs compared to them (even the arcade had them because it runs on the HDD). And only the DC version of all ports runs at 60fps.
I do agree though. For a fast game, N64 Blitz 2000 is the way to go.

I need to play some NFL game with friends. I'm a bit bored of playing Cyberball 2072 by myself.

That was a choice made by Midway then, because you can keep adding chips to a cart until you physically run out of room for them. Almost no Nintendo cart was ever pushed to this limit, CDs are the ones that have a hard storage limit.

Played a few races of Hydro Thunder before my work shift started, since I arrived about an hour early. While there are better times in Nile Adventure worldwide, my time got machine first place for now (3:30). Sucks though that you have to finish 5 races before racing there, but at least it's only one quarter to continue (two to start the game). I could do better though now that I've seen a video record.

In other news, I tried the Resident Evil Revelations demo on the 3DS today. I must say the visuals are very stunning. Some parts actually gave me a scare. It's been a long time since a game has done that. Controls were easy enough to get used to fairly fast and overall, it was a great demo. Definitely going to consider picking this game up.

WHAT THE FUCK?!
OK, so apparently the government has gotten the upload/download history of every IP address to use Megaupload, and is charging $150,000 per infringed material.
If this goes through, I will be at least a million dollars in debt.
