There has been a rumor that KONAMI staff visited some arcades
to sell New DDR.

According to my friend and some posts from 2ch(Japanese Famous BBS),
it's goning to be New Cabinet and will come out this winter.

Sadly, they are not supposed to have upgrading kit.

I don't have information any more.
It might be no more than just a rumor

Of course it has new hardware I suggest that it will be replaced windws basis like other BEMANI instead of PS2.

AFAIK, we will have new cabinet like DDR IIDX (in a figurative sense),
I mean old cabinets are not adopted to New DDR.
I don't know any specific reason.
Perhaps It has new interface

If Konami really is promoting the game to AC owners, then perhaps a location test is nearby. Maybe as close as August if it's being released in Winter. Or maybe they're promoting the game to arcades specifically for location testing?

Now I think our local arcade will not be getting it if the rumor is true, we got new cabinet for SN1 back then, that's like only a two year old ddr machine, doubt they will be that nice to change a new cabinet again :/

I hate mines too. I don't need useless crap clogging the screen when I'm trying to read the arrows.
I want a pad without that cursed 1/4" recessing tripping me up. >_< You guys playing in your shoes might not notice, but I play in my socks, and I feel the difference on every song.
Hands are find with me, they add something extra to the game.

Bah, I'm so sick of SN2 at this point, I'd be more than happy to just abort the unlocks and move on to the next game altogether.
