There is no Paranoia song in "DDRMAX: Dance Dance Revolution 6th Mix" (Arcade, JP PS2)
There is Paranoia Evolution in "DDRMAX: Dance Dance Revolution" (US PS2)

Don't forget DDRMAX US PS2 also has the Club Another version of Paranoia Max ~Dirty Mix~ instead of the original.

Ohhh. Then i learn something new today. i always thought the Jpn DDR released with the US. DDR just with different song's.

I've learned that the hard way myself. I think we already established that PMDM Club 2p and PMDMIR Club ver are only exclusive to the console versions of the Club versions. If so then forget that I said that.

Thanks.

It didn't even take me that long to remake the stepchart for the song.

The hard part was making a song cut that fit the chart as a whole, and making that cut wasn't easy at 1st since I had to use Audacity to do it, but with some built in tools, I was able to figure out a suitable BPM, and make some interesting cuts, mostly towards the end being most difficult, but overall, totally worth it to see the results, and I would like to make a completion on this file, including new graphics (which I suck at), possibly adding a video, and adding more stepcharts into the equation.

If anyone would like to make Doubles would be helpful, and I may need some help on the challenge chart when I showcase it at a later date.

I'm also thinking about starting a pack with this as a part of it, while also making it so I can get some experience making charts, and finishing the Pewdiepie pack that has yet to see completion.

At least I put in a good effort to make that chart and song possible, and had I not, it wouldn't be the same.

Thank you for the feedback!Very Happy

Great job! I always thought it was the (awful) Grandale remix of 'Give It Up' that was meant to be in Extreme, but the original mix would have been a fantastic addition. If you're looking for any help to finish off the file I'd love to do something for it.

Last Message Oni makes it look like there was a planned Oni chart for that song, but the idea was scrapped long before the chart was finished and the data was left over by accident. Kinda gives an interesting insight into how they made charts though, heh.

I would say so.

There's no real denying that the shirt is meant to match the X2 theme, but the jacket only slightly resembles the X3 theme and the pants only match the DDR2013 theme if you assume they are supposed to resemble the small pink gradient on the edges of the theme.

Remember that the X3 theme was actually the DDR II theme to begin with. But I don't think the simple polka dots represent the concentric circles or angled lines other than being the same colors. And the pants don't really line up with anything, not even RDA.

http://www.konami.jp/bemani/ddr/jp/am/sn2/chara/images/newch_alice_img.jpghttp://www.konami.jp/bemani/ddr/jp/am/sn2/chara/images/alice_on.jpg

Speaking of hidden meaning in character design... The images don't make it easy to see but the SuperNOVA 2 version of Alice, dressed in the style of an American Indian, is wearing a necklace with a diamond symbol on it. It is a Native American symbol for Butterfly or eternal life. The symbol on her shirt (behind the buffalo skull), is a variation of the same symbol.

Shame they didn't color her green, black, and blue.

Or maybe the people who designed X3 and 2013 just really like Emi. Tongue But that's cute info.
Well... if this hasn't been said or proven already... some of the Dance Wars achievements have X character silhouettes. Among others that are similar, Good Practice Partner appears to have Disco and Zero, Friendly Dance Crew has Jenny and Gus, and I wanna say Nice Crew is Zero and Emi. Some pictures were flipped and Gus seems to have had a haircut, but Emi's is sort of obvious.

it's weird because half of those characters aren't playable mmmph.

That was DAM DARIRAM hidden-Challenge. I think the game works like when it thinks it needs to load the Challenge chart, it points to GIVE IT UP's chart that was left behind.

However the way Last Message looks like, it looks like it's a Challenge that gets scrapped. It'd be wonderful if they actually fleshed it out though.

btw I just noticed Yuni's SN2 outfit has Tran on the shirt...

I feel like that was maybe an intentional move. Tricking a game to load a non-existent Challenge chart should lead to some sort of null entry (which should cause the game to crash). So perhaps those charts were only stuck there to avoid that situation. Eh, only an educated guess.

Also, within these 84 pages, did anyone mention how Saturn in SN2 AC sounded much different to the versions used from SN2 CS JP onward? Positive someone did, but nonetheless worth mentioning again.

Yes, in the end they used the new version. It seemed like wac revised the song. It's a bit sad though, since the old one doesn't sound made to be keysounded (which is wac's intention) but in the end they replaced with the version fit to be keysounded. I kinda hoped they just used that version on IIDX and SN2 AC version for DDR.

Also IIRC attempting to load Holic Challenge on DDR EXTREME AC will cause it to crash.

It's amazing how fast the older version just disappeared off the internet. Only place I can find it now is in custom simfiles dating back to when it was the current version. I'm personally more fond of the newer version, but I will agree the newer one has a more key-sounded essence to it than the original.
I would assume the only reason it was changed was because of it being transplanted into DJT CS.

The SN2 AC version of Saturn sounds a little incomplete (notably the booming bass) but if you sync the SN2 AC version with the current version, some parts that are nearly inaudible get amplified.

The artwork for DREAM A DREAM (MIAMI BOOTY MIX) from DanceDanceRevolution Solo bears a striking resemblance to videos that appeared in DanceDanceRevolution 6thMIX.

Wrong. Don't Bother Me (called Caution in DDR and in old PIU), Starian, and Wa (Chinese version in PIU) all are in Pump it Up and DDR Korea Ver. There's also Rapper's Delight (DDR Universe and PIU Exceed SE), Let's Groove (DDR MAX and PIU Exceed SE) and a few others.

Have a list:
-Eternus (DDR SuperNOVA 2 and PIU Pro 2)
-Operator (DDR 3rd and PIU Pro 2)
-Take On Me (Cover in PIU Premiere; original in DDR SuperNOVA2)
-Oops I Did It Again (Cover in PIU Premiere; original in DDR Extreme 2)
-Conga (Cover in PIU Premiere 3; original in DDR Universe 3)
