I'm hitting the public library for a once-a-month gaming event. This month will be NFL Blitz in two flavors: Classic (Nintendo 64 with Blitz 2000), and Modern (Xbox 360 under EA Sports). Both platforms will have full 4-player support to do 2-on-2 matches.

I loved Midway's Blitz to begin with since its debut in the arcades (my first game was Blitz '99 long ago, which the game room is now deceased). I also suggested the guy who handles arcade machines to bring Blitz 2000 Gold Edition AC to Harpoon Harry's. Dunno when it'll ever happen though.

So my family's dog, a 13-year-old lab, has been horrible healthwise recently. It started a couple weeks ago, but on Tuesday she shouldn't walk. Yesterday, she was walking just fine (running into things though, she just recently went blind in one eye). Today, she couldn't walk AND wouldn't eat. And just now she had a seizure. So my mom decided it's time we put her down. She's been one of out best dogs and has lived the longest, too. She's just going to get worse from this point, especially since she's not eating. So if I'm not on tonight this is probably why.
