"キナヨ"
If I were to get any 2, it'd be the Wii version and the 360 version, but I'm probably gonna get the 360 version.

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting both the Wii and PS2 versions.

Same here. I only have a wii and PS2. I'll start with the PS2 and eventually get the wii if it is ok enough. I really want the PS2 Version because I want to start a PS2 DDR collection that'll include the Japanese mixes in the end. Along with my soon to be UN-imaginary imported system.

"Revolution"
All I would be able to get is the PS2 version since that's the only system I have. One of my friends has a PS3 and another has a Wii, but I have no clue if either of them would get a copy.
Music is always running in my mind... Everyday, songs old and new come to mind.
...
I wonder how a DJ Hero-esque mix of an AFRONOVA medley and Fascination MAXX would sound...

I'd make them buy it just for my own selfish wants. Big Grin

You could make your friends buy a game they might not even want?

Also, I'll buy the Wii version I think, MAYBE the PS2 version later on down the line if I feel the need. I don't own a 360 or a PS3, the former has only around 3 games on it I want (hence I could easily wait and buy them and the system dirt cheap a few years down the line), and there is currently nothing I want on the PS3 at all and I have no love for it or it's extraneous features (hugs PS2 fondly).

I know it's completely off subject from you guys... But is anyone thinking about buying multiple copies just for the different features? Like oh say the PS2 version for nostalgia the wii for the balance board features (if anyone wants to actually do that), and the 360 and PS3 versions for butt loads of extra songs
PS2 and XBOX 360 versions here, unless I get my hands on a second dance pad, then I'll just get the XBOX 360 version. (I already have two pads for the PS2)

I'm really happy to hear about how many of you are looking towards getting the Wii version. Smile

And yeah. I'm not a big fan of A Brighter Day either. The backbeats are kind of okay but the vocals aren't the greatest.. lacks a bit of motivation in the voice I guess. Taking It to the Sky is better, IMO.

"ASDFGFGBNFGV..."
The vocals are not the best. Frances Maya, Alison Wode or Taya would have been good choices for this song. btw, I really like "A Brighter Day" cos of the instruments.

Going back to what I mentioned earlier about song similarities in We Cheer 2, can anyone guess why I'm posting this?

A Brighter Day definitely could've used a better vocalist. It's strange that Naoki, jun and (to a lesser extent) U1 are suddenly burning through vocalists and never looking back at them when there were just a few vocalists during the pre-SN era.
I bet there's a Lucky Vacuum song in this mix, possibly a boss song.

Is the PS3 pad wired?
We don't know yet, although I think it's wired. Personally, I prefer it wired. It means no batteries to run through.

Another alternatives (based on my experience):

My friend and i bought Logitech USB Control Pad for PC in a mall (Blue Control Pad ala Playstation1 controller) on the purpose to make a DDR pad for personal use... supposed to be we only have to buy for a controller only... but my friend asked me if somebody tried using this Logitech controller for PS3... we rented a PS3 nearby for an hour for testing only... We played Tekken 5 DR in PS3 using this controller and it is really 100% working... but with no PS3 menu button like that of an orig Ps3 controller... then, since Logitech USB control pad for pc is working perfectly for PS3, my friend decided to buy another 2 for use with PS3... he plans to buy a PS3 when Tekken 6 released... it just happened that the store has only 3 remaining stocks of this brand and model and the price is only more than half the price of the item in other stores. panic buying indeed... heheheh
Sillybear has already resigned from z-i-v... Sad

On the topic for getting different versions, i really do see no point into getting a different version just because of the different "features" each one have, plus they have the same songlist Roll Eyes. I am planning on solely getting the PS3 bundle (pre-ordering it too) just because it will include the octo-dance pad and the 150+ DLC songs it will be included on the game...

...HOWEVER, if i have enough money for it, i would also buy the PS2 version just to see the new SMM it has and what possible "new" costumes the characters might have...probably not costumes but their accessories from X =P

Either that or rent it Puppy Face

Since I am unfortunate, unlike some of you, I can't buy the PS3.
The PS2 is my resort since I don't own a 360 either. >_>
The Wii in the other hand won't be so good. PS2 > Wii in terms of DDR. =P

...i actually hold a question to everyone:

Who here has a PS3 that is going to pre-order the game OR get it?

Skimming through the pages, i could only find maybe one other person that might get it for the PS3 (i know Pandy has a PS3, and some other members do too).

I don't think a lot of people are gonna shell out for the PS3 version straight away. I think most people are going to wait and see how it's like after release. As we all know what happened with the next gen release of DDR, with jerky frame rates and such.

Personally, I'm putting this in order of AC likeness:

PS2 > Wii > Xbox 360 & PS3

Which would be my personal preference.

Just like how I guessed the box art thing, I'm guessing that all of the Quest modes are going to be the same too.

I have to admit that what Kyzentun just said was actually pretty wise in a way.

After all the horror stories I've heard about 360 sync issues I'm at least glad the PS2 and Wii versions work smoothly. I cannot fathom why the next gen consoles might struggle so much when they are technically more powerful than there predecessors. It's like when a 360 game is ported to the PS3, it's better hardware so surely it should make an equal or better game, not worse like some cases I've heard.

Curious question: if octo-mode uses two pads will the relevant steps be put into Doubles charts and the PS2 (or possibly Wii) charts be used for standard mode? I ask this because it's likely the PS2 version will feature it's own set of Doubles charts which could be different from the 360/PS3 octo-mode ones so I guess my questions is which would be used over the other?
