I think the best Christmas I had was the time I went down to look at the tree in the morning around 5 am and fell asleep underneath it. Good times.
This year the heat went out yesterday and now it's nice and frigid and I am wearing my barely worn house coat and slippers while using the oven to heat up the house. Although, I wouldn't go and call this a bad Christmas. Just a chilly one

The Christmas party between my relatives had two problems, motivation and initiative.

My aunt called the day before and asked if we could bring along our sound system (music, microphones, speakers) to the party. We did, and no one even handed a power strip to us. we set it ourselves.

They usually provided the TV for the party. No one stepped forward to bring the TV to us. No more Karaoke for the night.

One of my aunts weren't able to really organize the event because she has just become a widow. (I'll let that slip). No more games for the night.

The same aunt brought a bottle of wine. Later on, she announced a toast and asked me to uncork the bottle. I said I needed a corkscrew and no one seemed to know what it is.

A cousin finally handed me a corkscrew. I tried asking for help, but nobody seemed to know how to operate it or ask for someone who can. I finally spotted another cousin who happened to work in a bottling company, he offered to do it, so thanks to him.

After the whole wine ordeal is over, yet another cousin says to me, "If you don't know how to operate it, why did you volunteer?" I said, "Because I don't see anyone else volunteering."

The drunkard group of uncles are present and asked about my dad, who wasn't able to come, and then asked me to drink with them in his stead. I lied about my dad not feeling well and had half the mind to tell them that he got tired of coming because they weren't always present (this was a mother's side of the relatives party). And dad told me later on that they're gonna leech him of money for the beer anyway.

I guess that's what you get when you're the child of the youngest member of the family. Your cousins are just about double your age and aren't that hip anymore. I really felt out of place, as anyone who's anyone has a baby or a child/children in tow.

It was a bust, in short.

Is Just Dance a worthy alternative to DDR, in terms of working out? I mean are there songs that make you move a lot, like some of the songs on Dance Masters?

I'm really tempted to buy it in case Wii DDR games get sold out.
