Well, considering the hype he was talking about was the new licenses that everyone was getting excited over for the past couple of pages, and that those licenses are... polarizing to say the least, it's not a far off conclusion. NO ONE is complaining about DDR A being in America. The only complaints coming from me and most of the other complainers are the fact that you all lost your shit for a list of licenses that are fucking lame. The hype of cool exclusives is killed - the hype of DDR is not. Keep your dick in your pants.

not going to lie, i'm pretty hype. glad to see konami's taking steps to try and grab a new audience, to try and breathe new life into the series. even little steps like this are monumental. i mean, c'mon: Shut Up And Dance is a great song and is a perfect inclusion in the game. we're getting exclusive content with this exclusive port and i don't get how anyone can complain and disregard it. y'all are crazy, i swear. as soon as i find the nearest location with a copy of the game, i plan on taking a vacation. sorry work, y'all can bring in one of your other donation attendants. uncle sig's gotta get up and move. ;)

Pretty awesome that Konami is pulling out all the stops for the North American version this time (licenses that aren't just pop songs? Color me surprised)!
I'm eagerly waiting for some footage of this version, and when R1 is gonna get their turn to have their machines (The Ontario location is the closest D&B, but it's a 40 minute drive, whereas Moreno Valley's R1 is only 25 minutes. ;P).

Unfortunately, the location getting it was Ontario, California, NOT Ontario, Canada.
That killed the hype pretty badly for me, as a Canadian - I'm apparently completely out of luck.

Ok so I have a buddy that works at the Dave and busters [Houston]
This is what he told me.
We had good numbers on our pump it up machine apparently and a lot of avid players, which made us one of the selected stores to have one.

I'm really happy with the responses I've been getting from the D&B's in the LA area since at least they are aware of the new release.
