Interesting Little Things in DDR

I'd love to see a video of this; it's intriguing how one stepchart can potentially seem to fit more than one song.

Could you or someone else please mirror or upload this to someplace else? Can't download due to the fact it favors Chrome.

I've seen allot of these. What do the numbers mean btw?

The following is used for demostration purposes, and is used to showcase an accurate cut of the song Give It Up by Captain Jack under the hidden stepchart for Dam Dariram.

The video also has clap, and metronome used to show that stepchart should be mostly synced.

That's pretty cool, thanks Drumrush. Most of the unused song data that gets left behind enough to cobble together a working file is from the really old mixes, this is probably the most recent usable data that's been found so far. I think everything since then is just unused song titles in the master song list.

I downloaded it just fine, and I'm using Firefox 20...

It didn't even take me that long to remake the stepchart for the song.

The hard part was making a song cut that fit the chart as a whole, and making that cut wasn't easy at 1st since I had to use Audacity to do it, but with some built in tools, I was able to figure out a suitable BPM, and make some interesting cuts, mostly towards the end being most difficult, but overall, totally worth it to see the results, and I would like to make a completion on this file, including new graphics (which I suck at), possibly adding a video, and adding more stepcharts into the equation.

If anyone would like to make Doubles would be helpful, and I may need some help on the challenge chart when I showcase it at a later date.

I'm also thinking about starting a pack with this as a part of it, while also making it so I can get some experience making charts, and finishing the Pewdiepie pack that has yet to see completion.

At least I put in a good effort to make that chart and song possible, and had I not, it wouldn't be the same.

Does Dam Dariram on Extreme happen to have a hidden Doubles chart alongside the hidden Single chart?

It's worth warning you that you are using one of the most insecure browsers on what is now one of the most insecure operating systems. Seriously, at the very least get Chrome while you save up for Windows 7... and then continue using Chrome. You are a dream come true to viruses and hackers right now.

Ironically, Mega is probably the most reliable file sharing site right now due to the sheer amount of security and encryption being pumped into it, given its past dealings.

Most DDR players are familiar with JOGA from their songs DAM DARIRAM and BYE BYE BABY BALLOON that were featured in various DDR games. Many are also aware that those two songs sound extremely alike. JOGA has another song featured in Dancemania called NO NOBODY'S LOVE and, well, it sounds even more like DAM DARIRAM than BYE BYE BABY BALLOON does:

I see they also did a cover of White Christmas for an X-MAS trance album, but I can't find it anywhere. I wanna see how they turned it into DAM DARIRAM.

The numbers are how close you are to unlocking the song. You start at 0% and when you hit 100%, you can click the song on the eAmuse site to unlock it across the big 6 games.

MAXX Unlimited has 2 different videos in MAX2. In Japan, the video has Spikes, in the US it doesn't.

Yes. That doubles chart also fits perfectly with Give it up. It's also worth pointing out that Dam Dariram is the only DDR Extreme song to have hidden charts on both Single and Double.
