Got a full year of XBL Gold and some pringles(not joking) as gifts.

And something unexpected from someone I thought wouldn't pull through. My friend is going to begin preparing the legal documents to make SD Design a legit company and start out helping clients in the next few weeks. I also earned $150 for doing a web graphic for him.

Somehow that makes up for the letdown that 2011 has been with the job thing, that friend becoming a pathetic douche and the fall con. And 1st DDR STARLIGHT Song Reveal a week from today.

This Christmas I have a scented candle lit in my room. I'm going to be listening to podcasts and working on simfiles and music and doing a bunch of little things until I get tired and fall asleep... Alone.

But what's funny is that this is honestly the best Christmas for me in a long time. Despite hard time and stress and fallouts with fair-weather friends... I'm doing much better and things are improving for me. That alone makes this holiday season good for me. I'm in touch with my circle of friends, they genuinely care about me and I them. Good feelings, laughs, and well-wishes all around. This year I also re-bonded with the majority of my family (met some new members of it) and got over a number of little personal defects that have hampered my efforts to just 'be'. This was a hard year, but it turned out alright. I can (when I decide to drop from exhaustion) sleep well tonight.

What was the best Christmas/holiday season for you guys (and girls)? How does this year compare to the others?

I didn't particularly ask for anything, so I got money. What DID surprise me, however, was the fact that there's nearly £400 of it. Bloody hell, what am I going to do with THAT!?
