But the Tenth Planet song is also a cover of the original by a group called Japan, released in 1983. It's still Electronic music, but it is much slower and darker sounding.

Love all of those versions. Japan was quite an interesting group alright.

Zutto Mitsu Meteite (Ryu Remix) is probably the hardest licensed song in DDR 2013 it's a relatively hard 12 in . Almost close to a 13.

Speaking of Ryu, His contents in DDR recently are licenses. Not much new content from him since X3. (I/O).

Well, considering X3 was the game before this, it's not a very long time at all. I'm sure we'll see a new song from him pop up as one of the extra stage songs or during the song updates.

Hope so. I really miss his happy hardcore stuff...

This is the same hidden chart that exists on DDR EXTREME machines. This is long speculated to be the stepchart for CAPTAIN JACK's "GIVE IT UP", which was supposedly originally slated to appear on EXTREME.



There used to be a Stepmania video of it on YouTube somewhere, but I can't find it for the life of me at the moment. In any event, it's pretty obvious to see the connection in the stepchart. Simply start humming the "na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na na na now" chorus as soon as the steps start and you'll see everything syncs up. It's quite a shame it never made it in, the stepchart looks quite fun, though I've always preferred CUT'N MOVE's cover of the song (I'm probably in the minority in that respect).

That's the first time I've heard the Cut N Move version, I like it.

I also remember seeing a photo of the DDR EXTREME song select screen showing CJ's Give It Up listed. Dunno if that was a fabrication or not though...

Decided to recreate the steps using the original audio, and making a very accurate cut with Audacity, and BPM adjustment with BPM analyzer, and I think I did a really good job of recreating Give It Up by Captain Jack with the stepchart it was suppose to have from Dam Dariram's hidden Challenge chart.
