We don't know yet, although I think it's wired. Personally, I prefer it wired. It means no batteries to run through.Post #1603 · Posted at 2009-06-23 07:10:08am 16.1 years ago

I would think it was wired, although I wouldn't be surprised if it were wireless. It seems like its the way to go now. I noticed Namco is now bundling Tekken 6 with a wireless stick, so if they do something like that, why not DDR...

I'd prefer USB myself.

If it's Rocka, that would be weird... That song's in Samba de Amigo (the DLC)...
And HP2 first had Walking on Sunshine and I Want Candy and Samba de Amigo had those too. Interesting.

Same with El Ritmo Tropical and Jerk It Out.

@hooky: Yeah, I knew I was forgetting to mention one (Jerk It Out) but I was unaware about El Ritmo Tropical.

A little bit off track: Is there any speculation on when we'll possibly get an update on DanceDanceRevolution KO's? (Moar Ryu* PLZ)

Well, they may add more KOs at their Comic-Con demo (if they have one there that is). Other than that, they'll probably announce stuff on DDROnlineCommunity in the months and weeks before its released.

Also, a long-running grief of mine, I apologize for the following, erm, yelling: IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR ONE NIGHT IN BANGKOK (Vinylshakers Mix) ON A DDR GAME?

That song is a party starter, I swear. I was at this one party, and we were about five songs into the song list, everyone was sitting down. And then this came on and voila, we had a dance circle up and running.
Also, YTP+ One Night In Bangkok (Vinylshakers Mix)= Failure to generate brain power.

I played that at Summer Solstice the other day. Pretty good 20-25% thru the night song.

More on the whole bit about some music games sharing songs... We Cheer 2 has a Black Eyed Peas song, Just Dance by Lady GaGa, and Closer by Ne-Yo. Interesting.

Anyone else notice that those character Konami polled for on DDROC were from their new game Wireway...
http://www.konami.com/games/wireway/
I'm happy thats not the future direction of DDR characters, or Pop'n Music, heh.

For those who have wondered why Konami decided to using DanceDanceRevolution as opposed to Dance Dance Revolution, I can't say why, but they've been doing it since atleast SN2. See http://www.konami.jp/bemani/ddr/na/am/sn2/
