You have made sure the ID and Password are filled out correctly in the launcher right?

My ID, my pass are correctly typed, my e-amuse virtual card has already linked...

The launcher just can't connect before I can even enter the user/pass.
Sorry for the excesive quotation, but, he say it...

That error just happened to me, restarting the launcher multiple times seems to help but then I got NETWORK BOOT ERROR on startup.
Post #143 · Posted at 2015-10-23 12:35:45am 9.6 years ago
I was able to play the game once, then got a Network Boot Error, and now it's not letting me even start the game. X_X
And I was hoping I could test this out with my controller, but oh well.
Edit: After a few tries (and ironically, right after I took a screencap of the error message
http://i.imgur.com/XD7Jrgd.png {I tried using the image script, but it won't show the image :/ ] ), I was able to get back in.
I didn't notice any lag like other people did in the first test, but I really hope Konami gives us some form of gamepad support soon, because it's a bit uncomfortable playing this on the keyboard, and playing 10s was a pain with very little room to hit certain key patterns. Also wish that they incorporated an Event/Free Mode where you're not having to go through the menus to get back to the song list.
Aside from those problems, and a very-small-compared-to-the-last-alpha songlist, It plays great; load times are very quick, I didn't have any ghosting/delays when I played each of the songs, and the menus were easy to access once you knew which button brings up the modifiers, control configuration, and so on.

I'm having a strange issue where joy2key works, but only while Infinitas is minimized. For example, I have my KOC turntable mapped to Q/A. Right now while I'm typing this post I can type 'Q', 'A', or move my KOC turntable and I can hear Infinitas scrolling through the songwheel. (It runs in the background.) But then I switch to the fullscreen game and the controller no longer works. Has anyone seen this?
Also if this game has a daily 2hr downtime in from 3pm-5pm in my timezone I'm going to be ticked off.
I'm still trying to get joy2key to work. But the theme is greatly improved. New roundish songwheel font. Animations everywhere. Honestly it's still not as pretty as Tricoro+, but it's also better than the themes from the 9-13 era. The only noticeable piece of Spada remaining is the sound effect that plays when you switch SP/DP. I think this is the theme they're going to ship with, then offer other themes as DLC. (I assume they'll make result screens.)
Btw I didn't make or need a virtual e-amuse pass. Just do the login / DJ Name creation process the game puts you through on your first play.

I have a feeling that the problems I've been getting with the absolute stopping of the game loading any samples in any song past maybe 15 samples into the track has something to do with any combination of:
1) Windows 10,
2) My system configuration, or
3) My system components.
I tried the game on my Win7 laptop, and aside from getting startup errors and Network Boot Errors fairly often, it runs perfectly, as well as on the computers in the Computer Lab at my university, where I get no errors whatsoever with the game.
I did notice today that there was a correlation between Internet connection strength and the amount of startup and Network Boot Errors I got. Maybe it relies on a constantly good connection to start the game?

I couldn't unlock any new songs, unlike the last test. My djp are currently at 151 + 4 = 155. I also played all 27 charts on SP at least once. If V / Anasakis / Elisha / Flower are still in there then I don't see how we're supposed to reach them with just 9 songs. I'm pretty sure I got V at 100 points last time and I don't have it yet.
My KOC turnable is impossible with this game. With joy2key I can press key 7 (d-pad right) very rapidly. But when it comes to the turntable (d-pad up and down) it sticks for most of a second, even on the shortest of stabs. I played a bunch on both a keyboard and a controller, but it was very limiting.
- The FC lamp is weird. It blinks way too slowly. (Like 4 times per second?)
- Quitting out of a song in Standard Mode is annoying. It ends your game (like normal) which sends you back to the main menu,
- The "Game Over" screen only appears when you quit the program, instead of at the end of each credit of Standard Mode.
- "Any Key" still sucks. It's too easy to get bads with it.
- Can't choose auto scratch + 5 key anymore. (I'm not sure if I could in the first test.)
- The theme is greatly improved but still not better than anything IIDX has seen recently. (I could live with this theme.)
- Song sync is great.
- I assume song folders for each DJ Level, clear status, etc will be reenabled when they matter more.
- Turntable timing windows feel very wide.
- The staff should give us Elisha so we can test backspin scratches and Red so we can test turntable debounce. (I assume they are still in the data.)
Infinitas runs totally fine for me on Windows 10. I can even alt-tab the game and it continues to run in the background no problem. (It doesn't pause, and it does accept background input.) The game is very stable. It really needs joystick support though. The lack of a good input option makes the test a lot less fun. But then again I just played these 9 songs for about 2 hours.

I'm already very familiar. I just wanted to use this as an opportunity to bitch about it some more.
EDIT UPDATE:
- The problem with the turntable is that it blindly combines the directional inputs. Bind it to Q (up) and A (down). Hold Q, press A = input eaten. That's a bug. The turntable should always respond immediately to the opposite direction, even if the "current direction" is held.
- I just relaunched the program to test some things with the turntable, and V and Anasakis appeared! In the first test I could definitely unlock songs mid-credit or at least when being forced back to the main menu and restarting Standard Mode.

So for the sake of testing it out, I switched my default audio device to my headphones through USB, and sure enough, it fixed the audio problem, meaning that the entire time, it was my sound card screwing everything up. Well, that's one mystery solved, and it means I can finally enjoy the game again
Also, sure enough, after launching the game, Anisakis magically appeared. I unlocked V earlier when being forced back into Standard mode, but for some reason, Anisakis only showed up after restarting the client.

No song unlocks on my end. I'm guessing only a few players have those?

I still can't get past the Launcher immediately erroring out before even being able type in a user/pass (see below launcher pic).

Can someone with a working game do a quick test? With the launcher closed, try individually running each of the 3 .exe files in the "app" folder from the following folders:

strangely enough running the bm2dx_launcher.exe from the launcher/app folder is different than running the shortcut to it from the desktop.

Have you gotten to 100 DJ Points yet? If you haven't, then I think once you hit 100, you unlock V. Otherwise, I have no real idea as to why you wouldn't have any unlocks yet.

I have absolutely no clue how Anasakis gets unlocked after reading these posts; I got it along with V after reaching 100 DJ Points, so I thought that was how you got it. Maybe Anasakis gets unlocked after you enter the game a few times?

Hey don't be so down about it! Its in early alpha, and Konami will probably fix the issues in the future. You will definitely get a chance to play it.

Hombre, calmao.
Note for mods: If the language shift isn't allowed, tell me so I can translate what I wrote.

Just recently, my menu keys are stuck and the menu is continuously scrolling up on the music select screen. Also when I open my song options. All 7 keys are lit and the pacemakers also scroll up continuously. Is anyone else having this problem?

I had it, a simple way to solve it is to restart your computer and open INFINITAS as the first thing you do. Worked wonders for me, so maybe for you too.

Good news! I got a work around for stubborn PCs. Just Install the game on any other machine (friend, family, work, school, laptop, windows tablet, etc.) Don't login (just incase they tie an ID to one machine, or something) The launcher will automatically update to the latest version, after it is done, just copy the entire "konami" folder and replace it on your main computer. For whatever reason a pre update exe does not like my machine, but a post updated exe does. Good luck! Why?? Idk, but finally trying launch with another internet connection, the result is the same.

I just saw this, so I want to deconfirm that they tether IDs to a single machine. I was able to play the game, using the same ID and all, on my desktop, my laptop, and several different school computers on my university's campus.
Apparently, you can enjoy INFINITAS wherever (as long as the computer can handle it/supports it), and whenever (during the test, as long as there's no maintenance going on)!
