The SM5 editor is fine for me. What takes the most time for me is checking the steps to make sure they flow well.

I can't see why it would take longer in the SM5 editor. Don't forget to use the pg up and pg down buttons to scroll faster, and the home and end buttons to go to the start and end of the chart.

I've been thinking about stepping this song for a while, but the cut always turned out super bad, the song doesn't feel suited to be cut to around the ~2 min mark. Turned out somewhat alright in the end though.
