Haha As much as a lot of people hate the DDR X annoucer, I think he's great. It gives a fresh and modern feeling for the game. And he's says a lot of different things too!

I don't hate the announcer nor do i like them....
...it would have been A LOT better if they had better sayings than "This song is wha-whikity-whikity-wha-whikity-wack!"

The announcer for me is good actually. Sometimes, while playing X some of his comments do make me laugh so loud even though some of you don't agree with how the new X announcer comments in...

Do you see where I'm going with this? I've thought of a response to just about every single saying I've ever heard. Regardless, I like them all, but my favorite is this one from DDR X:
"Sure you can hadle this one?"
The way he says it is absolutely hilarious.

I guess if you're new to DDR, announcer isn't a big deal (from personal experience)
Remember that this game is not just for PROS WHO WANT TO PLAY BOSS SONGS. It's a game that the whole family can enjoy and I can see why announcer is an important part of DDR.
The new announcer Konami hired, he's funny, but annoying.. Some of the things he says are too long and can sometimes distract me from the song I'm playing..
