[SM5 THEME] DanceDanceRevolution Next Generation ~Release~

First off i want to say that i love this theme and even made myself a USB drive with SM5 and DDR Next Generation with all the DDR Songs as well. But what ticks me off is that there's no auto scroll in the attract mode. I have to press on arrows either on a keyboard or the dance pad to go through the attract mode. What could be causing that bug ?

@emmanu888 do you mean that attract mode won't automatically scroll through each screen? Have you had this problem with any other themes?

Yes that's the problem i have, i tried the ITG3 theme and the default theme. ITG3 theme auto scrolls though each screen and default theme auto scrolls as well till it reaches the menu. DDR NG is the only theme that doesn't auto scroll through the screens

Hey! I just want to say well done on this theme. I am very much enjoying it
Just noticed a few things and thought i'd mention them.
sometimes when im playing a song (background video version) during the start of the video, the songs actual background will slowly start fading in and by the end of the song, the video disappears and the song background is the only thing you can see. its hard to explain and pretty weird i dont know if anybody else is having this issue.

but besides that, honestly this theme is absolutely gorgeous <3

I think I know what you mean, it's part of the simfile (a scripted background change) though but I'll see if I can make a change in the theme that will fix this.

its not even really bad but I like how you take the time to read each comment and work on your theme. c:
also i feel like im nagging, could you add a few more background videos? I think its a nice touch and it would be nice to add some more character vids

or like is there a way for us to add videos?

@playe - battery issue fixed (renamed to "HARD GAUGE" + explanation changed, good now doesn't lose a life)
@emmanu888 - Attract loop auto-scrolling working
@Towlesy27 - The Bg change issue is fixed and the theme now has 23 random movies

So i guess there was a bug in the auto-scrolling ? Because that's what i understand.

Also another question, where can i get the noteskin that goes with this theme ? The default StepMania noteskin don't look good on a DDR theme in my opinion.

So i just ran a quick test and unfortunately the theme still doesn't auto scroll though the attract screens on my end. What am i doing wrong ? Its the only theme that doesn't auto scroll through the attract mode screens.

gotta say this is a great theme, great job to the mastermind behind it. i don't have to many compains if any at all, i just thought to congrats the auther on a great launch of this theme and hope others who are on sm5 beta 3 and later could enjoy it

Yeah I can confirm emmanu's problem, I'm running into it as well. Don't know what's going on though as I know nothing about SM5 theming

I downloaded the new version. I always update it when you release a new version.

I haven't downloaded this so I can't check myself, but it sounds like a menu timer issue.

There is a metric called "ForceTimer" you can use on any screen derived from ScreenWithMenuElements (which includes ScreenAttract ). If that metric is set true, the menu timer( which is likely hidden ) will send SM to the next screen even if the MenuTimer preference is false.

Can i just thank you very much ? Because that was the problem ! I added ForceTimer and BOOM! Attract screens now auto scroll correctly !
