Hey al, can you add a language selection? Like, instead of favourite, in English (US) it says favorite.

Needs a total recoding of the site tho...

Oh. Maybe with 5th style then? Or are you done with styles?

I haven't got a clue what to do for the next one. I quite like 4th though.

Well now we've only had 4th Style for about as long as we had 3rd Style.
I would try and keep the mass site updating few and far in between since this of course works so well.

I don't know if you've done any recoding or anything, but the text sizes have all gone a bit...disproportionate.
EDIT: OK, it's normal...except now it's in Times New Roman.

Started on the language thing. English (UK), English (US), German is only as a test at the moment.

Bump: You can add your date of birth to your profiles now.

Bump 2: Bump message shown if a user goes to a thread where the last reply is more than one month ago.

There's not much to change for English (US) apart from favourite -> favorite. I think that's the only thing that needs changing as far as English (US) goes.

Smilies changes:

is 8-)
is :-3

Prevents them from appearing when they're not meant to lol.

One thing that would be nice to add is auto-locking threads, so they don't get bumped.

Or, lock them to everyone with a negative or zero-rating (new people who don't know any better) after 1 month, then lock the thread to everyone but the thread creator after 2 or 3 months. Someone who has important information to add could PM you to open it.

The warning system is good, but still doesn't stop the new people from signing up and bumping something 6 months old because they don't know any better; the new people are never going to go away, so an auto-lock system could really help prevent the bumps.

Also, thank you very much with changing those two smilies... the only problem is that and have the same shortcut characters now, "8-)".

Why did the smilies have to change? We all knew what was meant. Besides, it added a bit of color to the otherwise dull contests. And GSB is right about it causing a problem.

I just right click the smiley, copy the URL, and insert an image with that URL to make smileys with them disabled. It would work for the rolling eyes too, until it's fixed.

They changed because of what they could potentially effect. like...let's say someone was stating a time at which something happened, and it was at 12:30. That would have shown up as 120. And then in the hurt/heal games, (18) would show up as (18--).
But yeah, the others need to be fixed too.

Nah, I have been officially diagnosed with both, but only a lesser amout for ADD. OCD is when you are erked by little details out of place messing up overall uniformity, and ADD is just increased distractability.

I wouldn't be surprised if ADD and OCD were a package deal, but the smileys appearing at the wrong time's just my OCD kicking in.
