LOL, I feel the same way, but at the same time, jubeat plus (my favorite) still gets the best treatment most of the time----we got Ultramarine, We're So Happy, and the other Ryu* songs. But still, the fact that pop'n rhytmin' got Critical Crystal ensures that Konami's randomness hasn't changed much over the years.The songs are:

Continuing from VGK96's guide from last page, here are the last few details about sunny park's Treasure mode!
-) The characters which have Mimi's power ('Increase Friendship Degree') can raise the amount of points upon landing into a Friendship Space by activating its power (as long a registered friend is in there, though). The power wears off if another power-up is used or by landing into a Trap space or a Friendship space (with a friend on it).
-) The characters which have Nyami's power ('Invite other players to the map') can make other friends appearing in a Friendship zone by activating its power. Note that your i-device needs to be connected to the Internet in order to lure friends!
-) Aside from the character tickets and treasure points, by completing the last level in a world of Treasure mode there is a chance to unlock a custom hit-sound for your regular plays on pop'n rhythmin (= a different sound is heard when notes are touched during regular plays). You'll know when a level's hit-sound is unlocked if in the Level Selection screen the musical note displayed in the lower-right corner of the world's last level is red instead of gray. You can change hit-sounds from the Music Selection's Option menu (lower-left corner of the screen, then select the 1st option; the hit-sounds are all in English text)
-) Character tickets are also awarded by buying pop'n rhythmin song packs. As of now, all the characters can't be unlocked just with the treasure mode/invite bonus free tickets, so to buy some song packs is required in order to unlock all the characters.
By the way, those "challenge notifications" sent by friends automatically arrive when one of the registered friends beats the player's high score for a game mode of the song!

When you get the goal, you get a random prize, can be Extra TP (Max. 200) or a ticket, is a little tedious, but it is a perseverance thing. And yeah, you can get only 3 tickets per level.

After a month filled of cross-overs and Studio Ghibli song remixes, a pop'n based songpack gets released today!
The Pop'n Party Pack 1 (ポップンパーティーパック１) features Sorrows, Chilblain, Banbutsu Kairaku Riron and Schrodinger no Neko. Talk about starting the pop'n music 16 songlist on rhythmin with a bang!

And version 1.0.7 adds an ARCADE CHART VIEWER, two new treasure mode characters (Knit and Kagome) and a new Treasure Mode song (Quilt). Brb unlocking everything.

One new feature of this version which I really like is the Treasure Points limit. Now it's possible to stack up to 9999 points!

Maybe I'll grow into it, but the random nature of where notes can come from (affecting reaction time), the range of the play field, the arbitrariness of the multitap rhythms, and the increasing speed of the notes depending on the difficulty level (also affecting reaction time) ensure that I have only tried a few Hard charts.
