For DDR: please, please....stop using crap american licenses.
Another thing, take a year off and work on making better stepcharts, they've been stale for a while.

Super Star Mitsuru is the best BEMANI artist. Well it's up there.
Cartoon Heroes is severely overrated, along with So Deep and Witch Doctor.

Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) is a shit attempt at a spin-chart.

I thought those were all intended as doublesteps? Regardless that chart is one of the more artificially hard 9s, and I would agree that it is overrated. but Witch Doctor, Cartoon Heroes and So Deep aren't

HahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaI find it to be the most overrated song on DDR, along with I'm so Happy. But that's just me.

-DDR X had the worst theme in DDR history.
-DDR X had the worst songlist in DDR history.
-DJ Troopers was the dumbest theme for a beatmania game of all time.
-butterfly upswing mix on D-Challenge is the worst chart in DDR history.
-Dancing Stage EuroMIX2 is actually a quality mix.
-All DDR X and beyond games should have been sold as upgrade kits ONLY.
-Zero (the DDR character) is a faggot.

What about the announcer?-DDR X had the worst songlist in DDR history.
EDIT: Double posted it. Second time this happened to me.

I think atomsoak feat. cerol is DDR's version of seiya-murai feat. ALT (Not counting 隅田川夏恋歌 being in X3). It's not necessarily a bad thing, though.

Yes, yes, it's pointless debating in a topic that calls for controversy but...
I'm also well aware Zero's a jerk. It's what separates him from the other DDR characters to me. I just think the guy'sas interesting as he is pretty. And if that opinion's unpopular, good, because that would make it kind of on topic. :P
Going back to bashing things... I hate 90% of DDR 2010. I'm also baffled as to how anyone expected it to be good based on anticipated DLC when you have to pay extra for that and it obviously wasn't released on the release date like they promised.
Rhythm Party's graphics are terribly unappealing. They needed to tone down the random, weird, flashy, sometimes cheap looking effects, or just stick to "flashy" and not be everything else at once.
Extreme and Supernova's nonstop megamixes were terrible/ had barely any effort put into them. SN was worse by far. And yet, I still want to believe they'll try again and do it right one day. Like DDR Max.

Go ahead and call him a douche, a creeper, an elitist, a woman, or whatever but I put my foot down at that. Just call him gay like all the other judgmental people who think looks are somehow solid proof of a person's sexuality. And so what if he is? I'd be sad if he didn't love Alice but I'm just saying, get a better, less offensive insult.I'm also well aware Zero's a jerk. It's what separates him from the other DDR characters to me. I don't know if this is controversial though, but CELEBRATE NIGHT and Brilliant 2U (HP2) are great.

- Overlay of Xepher charas in 'reunion' is not enough for me, there should be a BGA to make it more epic
- Ashemu is a lil bit disturbing for underages (a character, not music)

I think any song regardless of genre, danceable or not can be in DDR, heck I won't mind if any virkato song makes it in the game. Just as long as the steps are properly executed. DDR is more of tap-dancing than actual dancing anyway.

"Charlie isn't real" |
I thought the Xmixes in DDR X were pretty good. I'm just the kind of guy that likes mashup's and the Xmixes were pretty solid to my taste.
I loved Paula Terry as a vocalist in the older DDR games, as well as Donna Burke. Not too keen on Aleisha G. and that other vocalist found in DDR II (Becca Hossany) although Heartbreak was actually done well, Becca's other appearances i don't like (Surrender, still unbreakable, and others). Same applies to Aleisha G. and Brenda Burch.

"Wow, 4 types of corn!" |
Controversial...hmm..
* I have no problem with the vast majority of the syncing on the songs in DDR, especially from X onwards
* I have never played on a real ITG machine that I would consider (on sync) <- (Only ever played on the ITG1/2 machines at the Troc in 2005 and the machine in Oyama when it was briefly there (horribly syncing on everything on it; I think there was something fundamentally wrong with the setup)
* DDRX was the savior of the series in Japan and the locals (and I) had so much fun with it we thought X2 came a bit too soon
* I liked the X-Specials (mostly) though some of them had their quirks, like the first 16 steps in Afronova X-Special (still PFCd it though)
* I liked the X-Specials on double even more, even though they were more brutal than the ones on single
* Hello Pop'n Music has a timing window so large you can drive a bus through it (really easy to get 100,000 on a song)
* After the rise in popularity of Jubeat and (to a lesser degree) Reflec Beat, IIDX doesn't get as much love these days.
