"Oh god what I have dooooone?!"
I just want to say this right now.
Inb4 japan gets a game that's orgasmically good, and America gets it just in time for the last arcade closing or removing its music gaming section, and the last ITG2 cabinet is sold to someone on r21 or AIJ, and pump it up continues to thrive in the non english speaking countries, and australia remains better than New Zealand in every way.

YEAAAAHHHH.

But seriously, I want a worldwide release that's got LED towers everywhere and DECENT GOD DAMN PADS.

And more specifically, I want a worldwide release that doesn't make out that NEW ZEALAND IS ON THE MOON.

God damnit I want to play a laggy as shit DDR x2 so BAD I don't CARE how bad it is, at least you guys get to play it and complain.
If I didn't have my ponies and team fortress 2 and my own home pad that probably works better than most arcade pads, I would cry.

I wasn't trying to give Yoshihiko-san any publicity about his picture. It was just a question.
I sure hope he doesn't get annoyed that his picture is now being thrown around :/
It was kinda why I didn't embed it and had it directly linked to his picture.
(Just noting that it's on the front page of ZIv) Cry

"Give me a steady beat."
He should have known better than to post something so exploitable as that if he didn't want the publicity. ;)

"Give me a steady beat."
We may not know what it entails, but unless it's a cruel photoshop joke we know exactly what it means.

The only way that photo could have created more noise was if that was the Licle logo instead of the DDR 2ndMIX logo. And honestly I'm not too sure about that...

"Keep the frequency clear."
DDR X3 and DDR II probably will share the same inital songlist (at least, half of it). That is my assumption right now.
I'm a DDR player, but never make a AAA.
No, I'm not a IIDX player, but I'm a BMS player.
No, I'm not pnm player, and I haven't play pnm simulator yet.

Pissed that DDR 2010 shared the songlist throughout the console spectrum? Now it will share it with the rest of the DDR Line!!!!

Well, it seems that this songlist sharing (DDR AC and DDR CS) is in trend right now.

I think it's going to be much more than a song list sharing. Naoki said that the Wii version would have a stronger tie in with the arcade and here we have art working showing them "facing off" so to speak. My guess is that the Wii has become the new console for AC to CS ports.

And to everyone who pointed out there's a 3rd Mix or Hottest Party 3, you know exactly what I meant:

Max -> Max 2
Extreme -> (CS Extreme 2)
Supernova -> Supernova 2

Besides, the "X" theme was abandoned in DDR X2, so why continue to call it X? It needs a name for fitting now.

Kind of a good thing. I will miss the PS2, but my Cobalt Flux has Wii/Gamecube adapter too.

I see them getting all those X-X2 cabs in JP, upgrading them, and giving X3 to us.

ahhh, i read all this, logo looks nice ^^, i did think maybe the 2nd mix thing might be to do with the theme, it'd be interesting to see the CD images for each song make a return, but yea, Pies post about DDR II being shown at the same time as the announcement makes more sense :3
I'm looking forward to see what new stuff Konami comes up with for this release Big Grin

Wait what?! X3?! They broke the 1 sequel tradition!

3RD MIX

Extreme -> Extreme 2

SuperNOVA -> SuperNOVA2

X -> X2 -> X3 Shocked

DDRMAX -> DDRMAX2
I stole DDR X2 CS from the internet; it's my fault the music game genre is dying.

i'm not sure about the vs. 2ndMix having much to do with DDR II. i don't think they would use the 2ndMix logo for II.

perhaps some kind of connectivity between the home release and arcade that goes beyond edits
