I'm still wondering exactly how smoothly or roughly would it go over if someone did a different game? Would it really be that much of a trouble?
EDIT: My point being that this is for people to set goals on what songs they want to beat and build stamina I don't see why we all MUST do the same thing. As long as we all follow the same pattern and rules. It's good to have a set course and set game but at the same time whether I choose to use MAX2 or X2 I still am working towards the same goal. Getting my stamina up and passing a song I've set out to pass. I know this is your thing and I don't want to ruin it or anything. I just want to know.

It's a fuck-ton easier to make into an organised "thing", especially for me.

Alright, this whole idea started out going great. Tyma, you're adding too much to it and it's destroying what was meant to just be a fun little game session over Tinychat.
I vote we stick with going into TinyChat, streaming us playing (if you can) and then post our scores and calories burned.
We shouldn't limit it to people that only have a certain mix.
Any others for this?

I want to take the challenge. I just want to be able to implement my own 20 song course or mix of songs or an alternative one on another platform. My PS2 pad is breaking and I won't be able to play MAX 2 until I get more money which won't be for a long time. I don't wanna ruin it but I don't want to be excluded because Konami makes crappy soft pads. Otherwise I wouldn't even be concerned about it. Why not make a course for the most popular game of each major platform? A course for the most popular game of PS2, PS3 (Only one title but still should be included), PC (Obviously stepmania), Wii, and XBOX 360. I mean people can help you with deciding what songs to implement in the course. You don't have to do it all alone. This was meant to include everyone. Not just people who own MAX 2.
EDIT: Users would be able to only choose one course or set of songs to tackle for that week.

Are you saving up for a metal pad? (just wondering) Also Big Lots sells DDR bundles for $10. At least the ones in my state are. I just played the 1-20 song course by Tyma, it's amazing, great job!

I should be but there is always something that I need to buy instead. I simply can't afford it.

And how to add courses to Stepmania?
Sorry, I don`t know.... I`m still new to this whole stuff....
Sorry, I don`t know.... I`m still new to this whole stuff....
1) Make a plain text file in Notepad and write the following:
Quote
#COURSE:;
#SONG:::;
#SONG:::;
2) Give your course a name. Put the text between the colon and the semicolon.
Quote
#COURSE:Road of Lucie;
3) Choose the songs you want, the difficulty and any mods (optional & mods entered here are present for the entire song).
Quote
#SONG:Utopia::;
#SONG:Utopia:HARD:;
#SONG:Utopia:HARD:*mods*;
#SONG:Utopia:HARD:;
#SONG:Utopia:HARD:*mods*;
4) Make as many #SONG entries as you want. When you're done it should look similar to this:
Quote
#COURSE:Road of Lucie;
#SONG:Utopia:HARD:;
#SONG:Anubis:HARD:;
#SONG:!:HARD:;
#SONG:Zodiac:HARD:Dizzy;
#SONG:Solina:HARD:;
#SONG:We Know What To Do:HARD:Dark;
#SONG:Destiny:HARD:;
#SONG:Vertex:HARD:C400;
#SONG:Lemmings On The Run:HARD:;
#SONG:Tribal Style:HARD:Reverse, Sudden;
#SONG:Utopia:HARD:;
#SONG:Anubis:HARD:;
#SONG:!:HARD:;
#SONG:Zodiac:HARD:Dizzy;
#SONG:Solina:HARD:;
#SONG:We Know What To Do:HARD:Dark;
#SONG:Destiny:HARD:;
#SONG:Vertex:HARD:C400;
#SONG:Lemmings On The Run:HARD:;
#SONG:Tribal Style:HARD:Reverse, Sudden;
5) Save it as a .crs file (Make sure you can see file extensions and that you're removing the .txt at the end of the filename) and put it in OpenITG\Courses\Lucie. In the course file, the name of the song used is the song folder name, if there is more than one song with the same name specify the group folder it's in:
Quote
#SONG:In The Groove 2\Destiny:HARD:;
Do not make an Oni course, only regular Marathons. Unless you make some rather large edits to the theme, OpenITG will crash trying to display the batteries. If you know how to write Survival courses, you can make those (But that might defeat the goal of exercising).
If you have trouble, just PM me. ^_^

I played about 3 ITG songs and then I was just flat out tired. I don't know if it was just an off day or what. Maybe I might take some time off DDR/ITG. I have seem to run into a rut.

I got the same problem. I'm completely out of shape. I'm really good at DDR. I can even clear Xepher on Challenge mode with an A at least...that is, unless I get winded, which happens all the time now. It sucks! :p One song and I'm about ready to pass out.

"ARR JOO LEADY??" |
Oh yeah. Glad I'm hardly alone on this one!
I can still whip most 15-and-unders, and I'm starting to get a bit of that AA edge back. Ironically, my stamina is hardly what's disappeared (unless you count multiple boss-level songs in a row); most of what I've lost is my technical/timing. Even though I mentally know that the "fast" part of Trim is really no faster than the slow parts, my feet still try to hit the chart around 400 bpm; so it gets my timing off really quickly.
I'm deliberately playing more slow charts to correct myself, and get my scoring/timing back now.
