Never say never. I remember when a lot (and I mean a LOT) of songs were impossible for me; it took about 47 attempts to get my first pass on Uber Rave for example. Other examples include: Vertex Beta pass, Strangeprogram, Stabwound (one of the worst files EVER), Salieri Strikes Back Expert, Juggernaut (V01D's); I could go on but you get the point.

Operation Evolution isn't too bad if you're comfortable with streaming 160BPM 16ths, it does have a decent amount of breaks. Give Delirium a shot if you haven't already, if you can pass that you could certainly make a dent in OE.

Bloodrush is retarded so don't worry too much about not being able to pass it; it took me ages to pass it and even now I can only get 80.xx at most, it's such a horrible chart. That said, worst chart ever award goes to Vertex^2, though Vertex^3 comes a close second.

I love Vertex Beta but tht pass will really never happen, it`s a 16...

I was talking about songs that are close to my actual skilllevel but are impossible to pass.
Delirium is the same shit at OE...
I can`t do LU and RD runs....
I hate all combinations of runs where you just have to do shit like LDLDLDLDRDRDRDRDRDRDRDRURURURURURURU ... I maybe can read it but I cmpletely loose the beat and drift to greats then decents then wayoffs and misses and faaaail....
That`s why I`m so bad on Lemmings on the Run.
I HATE charts like this...
Bloodrush has the same...just wish crossovers....
But...for some reason I love Bloodrush...

AAA #1: Cannibal Coast [ZIV Summer Contest 2011)

Forget about it for now, once you can pass stuff like One More Lovely then give it a try. I can remember the countless times I spent in the editor playing it on 0.5 rate trying to learn the stupid jumps and 16th patterns; it is a very nasty file.

You still play with Spread right? (e.g. left middle and index on AS, right middle and index on KL) If so I'd ditch that method if I were you; a friend of mine used it when he first started off, but since he switched to Index and learnt the basics from me he got pretty good within a few months. He could pass Strangeprogram with an 80; he pretty much made that song his bitch haha. O_o Sorry if it sounds like I'm bragging, I'm merely stating someone else's experience. It is possible to get amazing accuracy with Spread, but it's a lot harder imo, it's much better for crazy shit like this (this is 300BPM 16ths, totally impossible on pad let alone for Index players!).

Anyway, nice improves Lucie, keep it up. I've been playing for 3 and a half years so don't expect to be super amazing straight away, it just takes lots of practice. I'm only hard on myself because of the elitists but you know what, fack 'em, they have nothing better to do with their miserable lives than to obsess over a game. -_-

Well my scores sucks. MadMatt et way better scores on pad for exemple. (not even talkin about the keyboard thread in AiJ were some 18 on Gamma got flaged. And by fla, i mean one excelent).
Also, everyone has his own level. The good thing if you post is that you can see how people improve and that's pretty cool

That sucks. I know how it is; during the first week of me recovering from a nasty accident back in June I couldn't use my right hand (right index was fractured and I had to have my arm in a sling on nurse's orders). The only reason I can play nowadays is because I use my right middle and left index until my right index recovers (hence DN_RightMidd as my profile name); when that happens I can't wait to kick some serious arse.

Here's what I did during my first week of recovery:

1. Download all the DDR arcade mixes from this website (plus a few console versions like Extreme PS2 JP, Ultramix 2, Party Collection)
2. Add the songs to StepMania (can play OITG but I honestly recommend SM 3.9+/SM5 over OITG, the timing window is more lenient and so is the lifebar )
3. Play easy songs like Let The Beat Hit 'Em on Expert, you don't have to start from beginner because you have to play one handed, chances are you still have your timing if not your coordination intact. (Y)
4. ...profit? Well I managed to AAA LTBHE with my left hand after some practise, I'm sure you can do the same. I can only pass up to 9s one handed though, 10s are out of my reach.

Speaking of one-handed charts...

Here's one I CAN'T do one handed, and I can pull off 9s and some 10s one-handed; in fact, most of my screenshots are of one-handed scores. Why not this one? 16th triplets at over 250 BPM.

You post a 95.21% on a 9, which could be decent if you didn't posted a 95.25% on a 15 right after. Your scores makes no sense xD
I don't say you're bad, you're good. But i don't get how you can't get such a low scores on 9/10 when you have the same or better scores on 14/15/16.
Also, why posting 3 screenshoots for Vorsprung Durch Techno ? The scores are similars, just keep the best score no ? (you also did this for a few other scores :p).

I like your ideas about Lucie's problem. I do agree with that. So Lucie, download stuff, prepare everything and have fun one handed. You can discover new sons/chart and all

@Silver Spirit : I used to play one handed a LONG time ago. When i stopped i could barely pass Quasar but i sucked. Then i switched to index because it's the only play style that look like a bit to playing on feet.

Until i can fix my config, i don't have a lot of interesting scores to post (you'll also not see a 9-10 for now).
I still got one little improvement this weekend :
-Arcane Apparatus From Beyond- 96.54 -> 97.21

My ex count is gross and not only because of my bad config. I didn't played really hard stuff before playing this that day ^^'

I'm going for my Max 300 AAA (no great), played the song three times in a row and I've got a total of 4 GREATS (1, 1, and 2) I swear I'm getting a Great on the same step over and over... I'm going to get it tonight.

Did it on my 4th try, 18 Perfects for a score of 99.35%.

I am now making the claim to be the tallest person in the world to have AAA'd Max 300, anyone 6'7" or taller that has done this yet?

95.21% was on Chopstix, which is a horrible chart and I can't FA it for shit. The 95.25 was on Bonecrusher, a streamy 15 and I'm way better at FAing streamy charts than technical ones (Monotone was my first tristar on KB ). Officials I'm not so good at and I cba to play charts with ambiguous steps/awkward rhythms haha. Oh and Vorsprung Durch Techno was me trying to triple star it, the others was just to show improvement. On another note, I got too lazy to CP the captions from my Photobucket, I assume people would check the album and read 'em haha.

I discovered Dance Dance Revolution difficult during Dance Drill on X2. Quite a fun chart.

Regarding your config...

Here's something that should fix it (ALL Win 7 users should read this):

1. Right click on your OpenITG shortcut
2. Click Properties
3. Click the Compatibility tab
4. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for"
5. Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 3" is selected in the drop down menu
6. Click OK.
7. ...profit? Well my friend's laptop has Win 7, and it also had some problems. Since I fixed it for him he improved a lot, he passed Vertex Beta for the first time with a 94. O_o

You'll get Moonlight soon enough, it's just the hands at the end you have to watch out for. Nice scores on Infection and Around The World btw.

Will post my scores soon, I just gotta stop being lazy haha. Have got a new keyboard recently (Logitech Ultra-Flat Keyboard) and it's quite nice to FA on, but I can't pass 17s on it yet (not gonna even think about 18s, I can't do that on the other worn out KB I have since my right index is still swollen).
