Improper Foot Ratings

Seriously do you think Breakdown is as easy as Kcet ? Kcet sure is a 8, that's not the case for breakdown.

Did you played both on pad ? You'll see that breakdown drain your stamina as a 9.

Like PureBlue says, Do You Remember Me is a solid 8. Not a 9.
This song is so kick-ass that i played it a lot until i finally got a video of me AAA it at the arcade (i would like to have more video of me playing. But i suck and i suck more when a camera is on :s).

Also, talking about Witch Doctor... it's more a 9 than a 8. Or it's a really hard hard 8 so :s

Yeah, I have to agree that Break Down's a 9. It is quite draining, though I'd say it's not quite at the high end of 9s.

Regarding Fly Away ~Mix Del Matador~, it was bad enough when it was only called an 8 in SN2, but now with the X scale, they've put it at the same foot rating as the original Fly Away!? The chaos in the original is a little weird, sure, but Mix Del Matador is far more ruthless. Sudden axis changes, crossover 16ths, jumps amidst 8th notes, it has all a song needs to be a 9/13 (IMO).

I still think Paranoia Hades is underrated at 14 X-Scale. I can barely pass it, and with great clumsiness. Of course, once again, we're talking lots of fast jumps, so maybe that's just me...

In X, Fly away is an 11, and the remix is a 13.

If you guys think that Break Down should be a 9, then so should Happy Angel. Probably twice as draining (from experience).

Spin the disc is always fun. I sometimes think it straddles the 7/8 line a bit, more towards a 7.

Both BreakDown and Happy Angel Single should be rated at 8.5 (old rating) or 12 (X Scale).

Happy Angel S- IS a 12 in DDR X. Break Down (IMHO) would be either a 12 or a low 13.

At risk of sounding like I'm harping on something, the game database at this website says that Fly Away MDM is an 11 on single .

Yeah, and also Every Day Every Night as a 10 though it's a 9 (or was it the other way around?)

Trip Machine seems a bit easy for 7 and 8

My experience is :
- Happy Angel : 2great FC
- Break Down : 7 great + 1 almost
Both on the same SuperNova arcade.

Maybe my score make non-sence but i played as much both chart and i remember the feeling i had on it.

Sure Happy Angel is a good stamina drainning song for a 8.
But Breakdown is a bit harder becauce of lots of double steps at high speed.

Happy Angel is a high 8
Breakdown is a low 9.

Or they can do something like the decimal system, but then make the ratings do something like ITG.

Make it so that the scale is 1-10 like normal (but change some beginner charts around, some don't reflect their ratings. They were judged solely based on speed) and make decimals. For example, Silent Hill would be a 7 (or a 6.5) and Paranoia Evolution would be an 8.5. Maybe make Daikenkai a 9, but Daikenkai an 8.5.

It can also solve a lot of remediation between oni & heavy charts being rated the same. Dynamite Rave can be a 9, and Dynamite Rave can be an 8.5.

Also, back on topic, anyone question Wild Rush? I thought it should be a 7 (or even an 8).

WILD RUSH is a hard 6 IMO. Maybe an easy 7, I was A'ing it before other 7 footers on 4thMIX (CELEBRATE NITE, BURNIN' THE FLOOR).

I reckon a 7. The only thing that could make it an 8 is those two 80bpm 16th runs, but they're not that tricky. Especially when the original Feels Just Like It Should (UNI1, Unleashed 3) is a 7 and is faster.
