So let me get this straight. Are we allowed to use a different cut (longer or shorter) of an existing song from DDR?


Or could we do the opposite of what he said, like censoring a song while keeping the length the same?

Why exactly would you want to censor it? We're probably not offended by a little swearing. Which probably means you want to do Highs Off You.

Different question: If I downloaded the original simfile off of Z-I-v, can I leave the original graphics in my edit (with necessary credit)? I don't have very much time to revamp the graphics on my sims.

No, I know what you were trying to do. You can go ahead with it if you're allowed, I was only asking because I was unsure what type(s) of edit would be allowed for this contest.

You get a DDR song and make edit steps with it. I think chewy is just replacing one word in the song, not making an entirely new cut.

You do NOT have to make your own GFX for the DDR edit.

and BGV are ok for all songs in this contest.

Another note: When you are ready to submit your simfile, say it in this thread and I'll put you in as a co-owner.

How about for the sake of argument have for the banner only a bar design like for DDR X (A.K.A. X-Special). If you want Pandy, Add me to the list so that I can go about and upload the Official DDR banners to have the "Summer Contest Edit/Remix/or something like that" once the user adds their Simfile.//

Week 1: Theme 1 starts
Week 2: Theme 2 starts, Judging on Theme 1 begins
Week 3. Theme 3 starts, Judging on theme 2 begins, Winner of theme 1 is announced.

I'll start this when I get home on Monday (Around 4:00PM-5:00PM EST). I think that's about 9PM in EU, and 5AM in JP.
