how did you install the new update? i suggest you don't just overwrite the new files to the older version. Delete the older theme folder then replace with a new theme (new update) there. Don't forget also the patch.


In my part, i tried DEFAULT noteskin, and no option icon is displayed here both side, in which it should be.

You need to expand the meter from 1-20. Even though there arent any 19 or 20 level songs yet, you can set edit data in the real games to level 19 or 20, which means they do exist...

Great work; I have some thoughts about the Japanese/foreign fonts. You should consider taking away the black border around them to match the regular letters. And I see you put in Cyrillic and Greek characters too. I like that, but I think they need to be in 24px size as well as 16px in order to display properly.

And I see you've solved the problem of having both players' life and score frames being shown during single-player gameplay. I'll work in some of those changes to my own 4thMIX theme.

I already tried that before even in 24px size without border like those in some JP DDR CS games, but some "complex written" Katagana or other foreign characters cannot be read properly especially when scaled down in the command code. So I added small borders around to add more readability.

I hope in the future sillybear can do something about those "looping background music" like in the score boards and in the song wheel, I hope he can make them loop more smoothly without stops

also, if I unlock an unlockable song, will there be a "New!" image on top of the song?

- apply the fix patch again (for DDRX2 theme v1.0) in the theme folder.

extra rainbow icon on the other side (in gameplay) appears when you have no RAINBOW arrowskin installed inside your Noteskins/dance folder. To remove the bug, simply download/get the RAINBOW arrowskin and put it in your Noteskins/dance folder. Any RAINBOW arrowskin variants will do as long as you rename the arrowskin folder as RAINBOW.

Regular Stepmania 3.9 and even the REDUX patch doesn't shipped with the RAINBOW arrowskins... They include only: DEFAULT(VIVID), FLAT, NOTE & SOLO(the last one is not included in REDUX patch)

Edit: I think... SOLO arrowskins = RAINBOW arrowskins right?
