I wonder why they're licensing them on DDR S+. Of all DDR games, you'd least expect that on here.
Maybe people wanted more than just Konami Originals?

Well none of these artists are real big names and some of them (like fade and JaccaPop) have been featured in other BEMANI games, so I doubt it cost a lot of money to license them as compared to some of the songs in X2 (Mainly only my railgun and Super Driver).

Isn't the JaccaPop song also in IIDX?
The plazma stuff sounds pretty good, based on this...
http://itunes.apple.com/jp/album/automagic/id358346219
I kind of wish this was one of the THE JETZEJOHNSON songs...

I wonder if this'll be a taste of what to expect on X2.

What a bland chart.
=/ Could have at least followed the lyrics a little better.

It will get a challenge chart in X2 AC, or else, why bother making a chart that bad...

Whoa whoa whoa real recognizable licenses? Suddenly the possibilities are very intriguing.

I think the licenses are simply introducing the idea of licensed downloadable content in DDR PS3/360.

...how is that possible? Those licenses are going to appear in the PS3/360 game as default, NOT as DLC for the PS3/360 version.Only reason WHY it is DLC here is because DDR S/S+ does NOT have those songs as default, so they opened these songs up as DLC for a game console that does not have them.

That's sort of my point. Konami's sort of showing the power that they can have licenses from previous games as DLC.
Unless if I'm being stupid here, this is basically saying they have the power to license songs from other mixes prior to these ones (e.g. Get Down Tonight, I Like To Move It).
But I'm not sure if it's the case, considering how old some of them are in the DDR franchise.

Well if your putting it that way then...i wouldn't really know. Konami isn't powerful enough like Harmonix, or Activision to license music on the fly like that and put them up as DLC. The only things they can offer as DLC would be the licensed songs that they already obtained rights to be used in a DDR game format, so we could also be seeing Licensed music from DDR SN US CS and DDR SN2 US CS as well...
...but to apply this to the DDR PS3/360 version just wouldn't cut it, i would doubt that most of the DDR players would want the licenses from the past games as DLC for the PS3/360 version...unless they are REALLY good ones (Eternus, Shivers, Can't Stop The Rain, Just A Girl, Heaven Is A Place On Earth, along those lines pretty much).

What an interesting license choice, I like it! It sounds very TOMOSUKEish!...and as soon as I thought of that, I wondered "Haven't I heard that Jazzin' Park name somewhere before..."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m52VS82SGi4
Unfortunately, I'm betting the license has been raped difficulty wise
.
By the way, to throw my two cents in on the whole "real licenses on DDRS+" thing...I believe they are testing the waters for the PS3 version. In fact, I believe everything DLC-wise on DDR S+ has been testing the waters for the PS3 DLC. Remember how the PS3 version promised us 150 classic DDR tunes available for download? Now DDR S+ just happens to have a 150 tune KO pack and includes all the KOs released on DDRS+? Anywho, I believe they are contrasting popular licenses like Just Dance and When I Grow Up and DDR-fan licenses like Butterfly and DUB-I-DUB to see how much action each pack gets.

Insanity. Are Boys, Butterfly and Dub-I-Dub the originals or the X-edits?
How many people think this is the last hurrah for DDR S+ DLC? The last time Konami released a compendium pack of all previous DLC was on the Xbox for ULTRAMIX 4, and that was that for that.

There's two more songs, only available as singles. For some reason, they're buried within the other J-Pop licenses.
Aloe Dreams - plazma
The nature world surrounded by Aloe. This hidden and relaxed trans music will veil all things.

2/4/6/8 2/4
feeling in my mind - plazma
The ambient club for guitar by plazma. Where are you and the ambient going?
BPM 87
