I really like what they did with Summer Fairytale, that looks really fun! They followed the snare pretty closely, and that actually results in a pretty good 14.
I think it could have been better. But I appreciate the chart, nonetheless. Maybe I was just hoping for more, considering that it's my favorite DDR II original.
Random question- anyone else hoping that they added shock arrows in the "pinch me..." section?

That's wholly unfortunate; and that price is a bit steep. I've never heard of a machine exceeding a dollar US. That being said: I am actually not opposed to the E-amuse system in America; however, the country's size does actually become a factor! With the possible exception of New York City, there is no place to put a modern machine and expect business. Yet, I think it would be a good idea to make a few select locations such as New York (perhaps in the Nintendo store there? Working internationally with a Japanese company can't be an entirely bad idea), Hong Kong, etc. I raelize that this would not help with most state-side players, but I'd be highly in favor of a rhythm arcade,or even an "E-amuse arcade," outside Japan.
The biggest issue with the idea is that it has to have Konami's backing. I mean, buying a DDR machine now would be like just getting less involved version of X3vs2nd mix (as most of the DDR songs are locked forever), but with the above findings, it's difficult to say whether the machine would even work. I guess the only hope is that people make bootlegged versions and work with that. I'd rather support Konami and all, but it just seems like they don't want it.

Dave and Busters charges $1.50 for any DDR machine on a regular day, whether it's SN2 or X2.Post #1564 · Posted at 2013-04-15 08:00:26am 12.3 years ago

As implied by Mr.Music, if you took an average price across the US, you'd probably find the average is higher than $1 - and the median even higher than that.

Bah; As I replied, I've only ever paid 2 dollars for doubles, and that was on one X2 machine. Normally, I pay a dollar at any arcade around here. The other X2 machine has doubles premium, so it's just strange to me.

Either crossovers and jumps, or ITG-like where you have to have crazy foot speed...or both.

ANYWAY: I posted about this in the chat.
Methinks we need more revivals from the Universe/Ultramix era. I'd mention some Universe 3 songs- about 80% of the DLC (minus Dance Til The Sun Come up and maybe another).

It's hilarious how there are still complaints about a possible 20 footer. Get over it.
But yes, The ULTRAMIX and UNIVERSE series really need some love in the AC series. And if necessary, some of the songs can use Challenge charts.

oh god just imagining how Konami could make ONCE UPON A TIME (Jertz mix)
gives me chills
BRING NEUROPA, NEVARAKKA AND DAYBEHAVIOR TO DDR AC, KONAMI! They've already done Neuropa with Feel in DDR X, but that was just once instance. And it hasn't been done since. Do it again! Maybe add Audiophilosophy! That's a personal favorite of mine.

Well, not really complaints, but more like predictions. Any who, yes, definitely need some of those songs and charts from the Universes (not familiar with the ULTRAMIXes but I'll look that up).

I'm not gonna lie. If they DO add more songs from Universe 3, I'd be very surprised if L.A. Evolved isn't one of them. Along with Concertino In Blue, Midnight Blaze Stfu remix or whatever it's called, and 100 sec. Kitchen Battle!!.
Or 777. Or Just Pretend. Or Feel The Beat.
Okay, now I"m just getting into my hopes instead of predictions.
If we go back to the idea that Konami wants more 14s in the DDR world to branch the gap between hard 9s and easy 10s old scale, then most of these songs would be perfect for the mix.

No seriously, SySF Mix will not be showing up anytime soon considering the original was removed in DDR X. Have you forgotten?

I actually did not know that.
Never mind then.
