A friend of mine who really got into CxB made this group last year. We hadn't done much with it yet, but seeing how REV. is now playable in the US there will be an influx of new players, and they'll probably have tons of questions.

Feel free to join, yes I know it says USA but it is really International.

All discussion about iOS and REV. versions are welcome.

It'll take you about half the span of the average mission epoch to get all the mission rewards, if you follow the CxB wiki, play regen tix as they're available (even about 3-4x/day), and have friends that can share the songs you need.

If you're having this much trouble with unlock challenges, you should concentrate on unlocking the song's lower difficulties first. You'll be able to learn the song and have a better sense of what to expect in the [M] charts.

If you can play the [M] charts with reasonably good (75-80%) score quality, and you're willing to play three or four times a day on regen tix, you're rarely going to miss out on event rewards. spt song unlocks do get a lot easier if you play friends' unlock challenges and accumulate some spt to spend.

I dunno, I really think C×B has brought a lot to the table - fan favorites from old BEMANI (jun, SLAKE, RAM, PINK PONG, etc.), popular doujin artists, solid licenses and TV/anime selections...

I read your argument but the entire thing fell apart right here. In a rhythm game songlist is king, and dictates whether people will continue to play the game or not. It's obvious that this game is not for you, and that's okay. There are other people who enjoy the music selection and gameplay enough to be willing to throw down a lot of money just for the hope of getting particular songs.

You obviously have a lot of issues with CxB's marketing strategy in general and I seriously question why you still play it with the number of complaints you have against it. It would be like me playing FPSs even though I hate them to death. No one's going to hate you if you decide to stop playing CxB.

I am agreeing with most of Tele's points. I sucked back in July, but overtime you get better at the charts and understand how the game works for charts. If you are scoring around 70-80% per song, then go for the lower point requirements. You won't get the song automatically, but you at least get some pieces of the puzzle. It's a tedious progress but it works.

Also this is 100% a pay to win game. I won't lie on that when CAPCOM is very demanding for tickets. Once REV goes international outside of Round 1 you'll have a better chance to play it more often. There is also a lot of log-in bonuses, bonus campaign tickets, and the usual 7 day daily unlock thing that helps ticket growth. If you really struggling this much, take a break from this game. Can't expect to reach chion like skill overnight. If this isn't helping maybe CxB isn't for you.

This is probably a really stupid question. I downloaded the game and played it, then I deleted it for space for iOS 9. I got it back, and then I realized I needed my ID. Is there any way to recover it? I have the username and the password.

Honestly there should be an option to log in with your username and password.

Yes there is. In one of the screens I believe in the beginning of the game, you choose the option where you have to input your username and stuff instead of going through the in-game tutorial.

Wowwwww then you're screwed. Your profile has your ID shown when you view your profile. If you can't see it befriend somebody in Ziv and ask them your ID. The only other way is if somebody finds your profile via recommendations.

I see all of your points; it's just that I don't have that kind of money to be spending on a mobile music game that charges players to play as if they are in the arcade, not to mention, with arcade prices. I've been playing this game since its release, but went on a 6 month hiatus a few weeks thereafter because waiting for FREE TICKETS wasn't very fun, and I didn't want to spend money on the game. As of now, I want to spend money on the game, but the return sucks...am I the only one who thinks $1.00 USD for 15 PREMIUM TICKETS is lousy? Does noone like my new suggested Crossbits scheme? Like I said earlier, if they're gonna price this mobile version like an arcade machine, then they should give us the full CROSS BEATS REV. update which should have been released at the same time as the AC release as a direct port that plays identically.

In a previous post here, I outlined my goal for unlocking the two songs from the last event, and I was successful without using many PREMIUM TICKETS or spending real money. Note, playing the same song twice (5 tickets per play; only have 10 FREE TICKETS) and then having to wait a couple hours to rinse and repeat felt more like a task than fun. Also note that I had no chance to obtain the 5000000 personal points (or 1000 rank) ROCK BLUE skin (with my cheapskate tactics). I'm seemingly alone in this.


EDIT: Just unlocked Cross Angel (MASTER) difficulty, which required around 150000 points to obtain....I took the 90 Combo challenges and finally unlocked after 50 plays (~250 FREE TICKETS), which took about a week to accomplish. This is perhaps one of my favorite songs and charts on this game, as it sounds good and the MASTER chart is pretty fun. Costly though, seeing that I had played it enough times trying to unlocking it, I ended up getting an S ranking...they don't call it "MASTER" for nothing.

The ROCK BLUE skin isn't very good IMO anyway as I find charts slightly more difficult to read with it on.

Just got a yellow ULC for Hisui [Master]! It's a 70, and not too hard except for the ending section -- I got an S sightreading it. Trying to unlock it now.

Apparently the game didn't think I was suffering enough trying to unlock NFTR MASTER so it gave me Rebellion >.>

500 tickets left. Maybe I'll get something else?

EDIT: Can we take a moment to talk about the top tier bullshit requirements it takes to unlock Rebellion? I mean holy shit I don't complain about unlock requirements because I can usually handle them / don't mind the grind that much but there's some ridiculous stuff going on with this one.

Yeah it took me ages to unlock the MASTER chart. Spent tons of tickets unlocking it one piece at a time, then for the last 4 I just about got the hang of getting the 300 combo requirement so didn't have to spend any more PTs on it.
