I wouldn't be surprised is Just Dance gets placed in DDR...Konami tends to put songs with DANCE in the title anyways :/...as for the Fatboy Slim song I am hoping for Weapon of Choice with the Christopher Walken video XD....OR DANCING CHARACTER :3

I'm guessing that if they divvy the development to the studios who were already handling each console's respective release it'll be:
PlayStation 2/3 - KCEJ (Japan)
Xbox 360/Wii - KDE (America)
Which would still make sense even if they're asking everyone to work with the same materials. It would also explain why the 360 and Wii have the album art wheel and the PS2 (PS3?) still have the classic songwheel. It wouldn't be the first Xbox release in Asian territory, just the first for the Japanese 360. Universe 2, 3 and Chinese Music Special Edition were developed by KDE originally and then tweaked and distributed by KDEL (Hong Kong).
I think there will be no DDR for JP X360 since well.... the console over there in Japan never have DDR on that console.

I'd be fine with either Ganster Trippin or Weapon of Choice. The Fatboy Slim album they show on the e3 trailer though is "You've Come A Long Way, Baby" though, which includes the following songs...
1. Right Here, Right Now
2. The Rockafeller Skank
3. In Heaven
4. Gangster Trippin
5. Build It Up - Tear It Down
6. Kalifornia
7. Soul Surfing
8. You're Not From Brighton
9. Praise You
10. Love Island
11. Acid 8000
Seeing as Rockafeller Skank was in DDR already, the only other two options seem to be Praise You or Ganster Trippin, since they both have music videos. I dont' think any of the other songs on the album have videos, so I think we can rule them out.

Oh, noes!!! I'm not really a good fan (which means I haven't listened to a lot of his songs) of Fatboy Slim. There goes Weapon of Choice then.

Well, it's not unheard of to crossover licenses from Dancing Stage, such as Wonderful Night, Video Killed The Radio Star, and Love At First Sight.

I hope that the downloaded games will work on DDR V2. No way am I going to pay again to play the same song on a different ddr game. Also I want the unlock songs from DDRV1 to be able to play on DDRV2 as well...

Yeah, didn't the Universe series make you do that? Pay for songs that you downloaded in the last game?
They've stated that the KR downloads from previous games will be compatible with this game, so hopefully they do that with DDR.
By the way, the Prodigy song is almost certainly Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix).

In a related note, didn't Here it goes again did the same thing? It was included in DDR X and an Xbox/360 game with different steps.

It hasn't been confirmed if its for 2009, but DM Ashura on my new IIDXfreak IRC channel, brought up this

Hope "I am machine" is a boss song.
Could be a paranoia style song (not a paranoia remix) since that was called the machine dance since you had to "be a machine" to pass it back in the day.
