I liked Jupiter :O. It's my favorite of Holst's planet songs IRL, and I think that they did a really nice job with it.

Edit: I just listened to the song again. I forgot about the abrupt cut, and the steps suck, but I still think the song is beautiful.

I wonder why they never finished the planets. They didn't have Mercury or Mars. I'm not sure if I'd even count Venus as a planet song and I definitely wouldn't count MARS WAR 3. Although it would be nice to see some more planet songs, I think it's too late seeing as how we aren't in the SUPERNOVA thing anymore. I'd like to see the EVOLVED series progress more but I'm glad we get more boss songs than that and a jun song.

Actually, they do count, and L'amour Remix is Mercury. And they threw in SUNKiSS DROP to represent the sun.

They had Mars, it was just Mars War 3. they never did Mercury though, and I don't why. Anyway, it would be cool if they made a Pluto EVOLVED so we had the planet series and the evolved series

L'amour et la liberté remix was the Mercury song, artist was NAOKI in the MERCURE before they changed it to NAOKI underground in DDR X2.

As previously stated, I wouldn't count MARS WAR 3. The planet songs are named after the planet itself. Like Saturn. The only thing I'm confused about is why Poseidon instead of Neptune?

Correct me if I'm wrong or it's the other way around, but;

Didn't Konami retcon this at X2 AC by having the artist of the original version also Naoki in the Mercure? If so, there's your Mercury on an American PS2 game.

Now about Jupiter, I don't know what's preventing them from re-licensing Holst's composition (I don't even know if the original is on public domain), but if it isn't that, I don't know what is.

I honestly have no Idea. Konami always does this with a series. Like with the MAX series. MAX. (period) was only on EXT CS JP and L.A EVOLVED only had one version and was just a remix of tokyoEVOLVED yet New York EVOLVED had three versions and was am entirely new song. If they did anything in complete order NYE would have had on version and would have been a remix of osaka EVOLVED.

No it's not that. I'm not upset about it. I was simply using that as an example of Konami's odd behavior when it comes to a series of songs. I'd rather L.A. EVOLED be something new but it's strange that they chose to do it that way, but it is good that NYE wasn't an OSE remix and had three versions because that opens the door for other american cities. Hopefully though we get a japanese city in the next set of EVOLVED songs.

I think they'd do London/Paris/Moscow EVOLVED before they do another American city. I think it'd be Chicago or Dallas EVOLVED, next, anyway.

Also: DO WANT Jupiter and Mercury! Hell, they oughta revive Flash in the Night and Follow me, just so we can finally put the debates to rest on what they would've been rated if they went on to further mixes.
