The Forums button was probably the one thing on this site I clicked the most. This change adds a second step to returning to the main forums page. Sucks.

I was in my Oral Communications class the other day and after a speech about supporting sexual education, we were talking about why it was needed and how some young people were curious about their body parts, and it was pretty amusing to say the least, and here's why.

During our conversation, our instructor told this story about a girl who went to the high school he used to teach. Apparently, she used to sell Twix bars. Now, these were actually "special" Twix bars because before she would sell them, she used to stick them up someplace inside her and pull it out, and sell it at a cheaper price. Needless to say, a LOT of guys bought these Twix bars.

Her nickname was Twixxy. Yeah.

Nailed the final interview and they even let me keep a souvenir. The editor said herself that I was a very talented and professional individual just by talking to me and that was also without seeing my portfolio. Looks like my reputation precedes me.

Back. Picked up Gears of War 3 at Gamestop (by trading in my PS2 games, my PSP and PSP games) and had enough funds for 3,200 Microsoft Points. Bought Worms 2 Armageddon (800), Burnout Crash! (800), and Eternal Sonata (1,600) for the points.

Digital copies (Eternal Sonata) are a bitch to download though.

Job rage ahoy

So I applied at a few stores, luckily I had an interview at one of the places, so I'm hoping that this is the one. Here's something that irked me though, my best friend, who is going to be shipped out to Boot Camp in November, just got a job at Hot Topic & starts in early October. Now don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for my best friend to get a job, but why are they giving someone a job who can only work for 2 months & be shipped off?

I don't get it

Possibly they just need a temp worker and/or I think businesses can get tax breaks for hiring those in the service. Or maybe he didn't tell them that he had to go to Boot Camp in two months?

Speaking of jobs, I got one in Little Tokyo! It's nice because it's an area I'm familiar with and very close to my school so it works out very well. The place is called Senka Cafe, so if you're ever in the area stop by and I'll see if I can't get you a discount on a drink or something.

So I went to a gay club last night and went up to the second floor for the first time. Awesome time until some drunk man (at least 35) came over and tried dancing up on me.
