Watched America's Got Talent finale
Why is it every fucking year it has to be some singer who does the same thing every season There are a bunch of other unique and original acts who would die to win. Other countries can, why can't we? In Ukraine you had a winner who did a bunch of sand art and is amazing, Sweden had a winner who done Rubix Cube tricks, Korea had some robot dancer win, even Russia had some according player win. Don't get me wrong he's a really great singer and all, but its the same shit different person.

Ok...I followed the series from beginning to end and can tell you that he deserved to win.
1.) The other final 3 sucked.
-Team illuminate lost its fun and wonder. The lights just weren't as coordinated and not as exciting.
-Poplife sucked. (If you saw their performance, then you know why it was horrible)
-Silhouettes wasn't on par with their first two performances.
2.) Eugene had a story of poverty. The money was bound to go to him. Look at Micheal Grim from last year. Same story.
3.) Silhouettes or Team illuminate can make a show and make a living without the assistance of the show. They got their publicity.
4.) Etc.
Append: I used to watch and wait for Team illuminate to do their stuff, but then after the second act, they flopped.

But in a place where there's already countless talent shows with singers only, when one wins America's Got Talent where it's not JUST singers it's a bit of an annoyance. If you're a good singer, enter the damn singing show.

Yeah, I was getting a huge Borderlands vibe from the things I heard. My main concern was about that stamina bar you have that limits how often you can use your melee attacks, and it looks like a very melee-heavy game, so I wasn't sure how much of a pain in the butt that would be.

Portal 1 is definitely short, but that is completely thrown aside for Portal 2, it's a good length of time for this type of game, and the story behind it is pretty immersive too so, do pick it up Now, I have to get Portal 2...

So, if anyone here is going to or thinking about going to school at USC...
do not live at University Gateway.
The chumps who run the internet here (Bel Air) have throttled Ziv so you don't get any data from the site until 30+ seconds later. (So it's not that the site loads slowly.. it's that it won't load AT ALL until 30+ seconds later.) This situation arose after the last time I uploaded uncompressed photos from my camera for DDR score tracker evidence, and it hasn't changed since that.
This is part of the reason why most of my recent activity on the forums has been brief, or why I may have misread posts (had to use AT&T 3G on my phone's small screen.)
In best case scenario...
