Speaking of arcades, the arcade I frequented in the past was supposed to open in July. Then it was postponed to August and then later postponed to whenever. I'm hoping it'll open soon because that's the only arcade that's worth traveling to in my town. The only other one I deemed worth going to decided to get rid if their Extreme cabinet.

At this point I actually agree. X2 has been horrible outside of Asia mostly.

Honestly, X2 is fine, the main problem is the fact that we're not battling Konami directly, we're dealing with our Friendly Neighborhood Betson. I'm sure you've seen the general praise that most players give DDR X2 AC; we all have had our "OMG IT'S GOT <insert song here> and this feature, and this feature," etc. Your comparing a software patch to outsourced hardware. If you were only around an ITG 2 R21 WITHOUT USB access would you truly be saying the same thing or even R21 on a DDR upgrade kit on poorly maintained pads?
Probably not. I know hardware-wise DDR X2 sucks (and lack of e-Amuse, but that's a completely different issue) but so far most people enjoy it outside of Japan or countries with Japanese builds. As for the European upgrade issue that's another Betson problem and I'm sure Konami really didn't have anything to do with that. Someone should try the upgrade kit on an American X2 dedicab and see what happens since we know it's a hardware issue and the DDR X builds are bad all around. Gotta love 1st generation stuff.

VII would cost a LOT more to make HD than X.

Recent video on Machinima Respawn. I don't know if it's worth the money just for the three characters from CS2, but I sure as hell am not getting a 3DS just for Continuum Shift 2. Tomorrow is when I'll return the copy to someone (I had to resurface the scratched DVD).
