I quite like Hisui musically, but the charts are rather bland. It's rated 10/22/47, I'm guessing there's a harder chart in store for when it inevitably returns as an RSF exclusive.

I'll second the opinion that Hisui is a really nice song. Get to add another song to my list of RSF exclusives I'd like to have but will probably never get.

Do note that this is a High Score attack too though, so if you want to place well you'll have to play well on all the songs. However, if you're just looking for the exclusive songs I'd just spam away at ピコラセテ as it easily outscores every other song this event.

Oh man, these events are so demanding! They want 5,000,000 points for the new skin (which there's no way possible for me to get unless I buy over 800 Premium Tickets) and 1,200,000 points for EverWhite (I want this song).....the Dreaming Girl song would follow if I achieve such a gargantuan amount of points in time (probably not enough time to pull off since I use Free Tickets and only have 45 Premium Tickets left as of now).

After a previous event, I got the TORIENA song after spending over 100 Premium Tickets that I had saved up. My average score on that song's HARD difficulty is 28000+ (can't pass the MASTER chart yet), and by using this figure, I've calculated that it would cost me 215 Premium Tickets to unlock EverWhite by playing that TORIENA song EVERY time at this rate, or if I play conservatively:

The ROCK (BLUE) skin is nice and all, but there's no way I'd be able to unlock it in time (5fucking000000!?)[projected ~890 tickets needed at my current rate]...my current RANK is 1563th, so that's also out of the question....all unless I spend real money on the game, which I have never. I hardly have any skins, themes, bgms....I only have the old GLAY skins and 2 easily gotten old game skins from before REV. was even fathomed. Whatever happened to spt points? There are a ton of event missions to unlock skins, but the "hints" are bad (and will likely cost you a lot of Premium Tickets) whether you're spinning your wheels or not, were GONNA be using Premium Tickets anyway Capcom, so just tell us EXACTLY how to unlock said mission event skins/songs, dammit! You think I'm gonna spend over 5000JPY in attempts to obtain an obscure skin of a music game that only works online?! Fuck that shit! I'll continue to be a cheapskate and save my hard-earned money on something more rewarding. Maybe I'm just playing the game wrong...seems like most other people are enjoying these crazy events. xD

You can fail the song and still get points if you do it on Master. Better that because even a bad play nets 35K. I will be honest when saying getting the skins will almost always have you buying premium tickets. It is a very cruel system but those who can at least play 50-60s can get enjoyment from the event. Saving tickets in festivals, getting exclusive deals, and working together in completing campaigns saves premiums and has some enjoyment. Speaking of,

Since Arrows and Chewi aren't online much, I was wondering if we can all do a site wide thing for campaigns and stuff. These things are fuckin' demanding for old unlocks and I'd like for everyone to get cool stuff. :3

It's all in Japanese but it's usually easy enough to understand. That link goes to the current summer campaign, but the page gets updated as soon as any new missions are available and also gets updated as people find out what the mission conditions are within a few days of the campaign starting usually.

I already know that, but I mean songs that few people have. A lot of us started recently into CxB and a lot of the requirements require songs some have but some don't.

Kind of in-line with cowtao's last couple of posts, I've thought about setting up something for CxB players (maybe a CxB chat room?? Still thinking on what to do exactly) as it would keep the thread relatively free of "please share X song" posts and almost no one who plays CxB is on chat anymore really (myself included) to see people requesting songs. Mostly I'm trying to find a way to create relatively instant feedback / responses without people having to worry about posts getting missed for being bottom-paged or just flat out ignored.

Chat room might not be a bad idea actually. People could request song shares, show off RSF swag, ask for advice on charts or whatever else they want to while keeping ZIv chat free of CxB chatter.

I doubt that would work. Al only has two chatrooms, for main chat and his auth chat for Ryan, Oni, and himself already scripted in the site for years now. Asking for another chatroom would probably be too much and he'll ask us to go to another chatroom hosting site. :c

Setting up a chatroom isn't that hard though. It's more a question of "is there enough interest in creating a CxB-centric chatroom to warrant creating one?"

I have Dreaming Girl already unlocked and sharing it for the time being.

Songs are pretty repetitive and boring except for like 16 measures in EverWhite that got me excited that the song was gonna do something cool before it ended up going back to being boring.

Very beginner-friendly songs and charts.

not mentioned was a new spt exchange for Driving story and Night feelin before we go into the next ever-fun RSF.

Recommend jumping on Driving story if you need RP and can afford it as the chart is overrated a bit and is fairly simple to get good RP on imo.

UPDATE: Under the regulations I had initially set forth in my previous post, I have achieved 1200000+ points and have unlocked both songs. I still haven't spent one red cent on this game.

In addition, can clear that TORIENA song on MASTER every time with a 43K~45K average score. I'm working on unlocking Cross Angel (MASTER), which is fun, but very hard for me as of now, but I'm slowly memorizing the chart.

But that's not the main focus, the main focus OMG BOTH OF THESE UNLOCKS ARE AMAZING!!!!!111!!!!! I was half expecting decent stuff but this blows the past two events out of the water.
