At least it's not Betson.
The funny thing is that Betson X2 pads are more sensitive than 2013 pads

(but even so, I wouldn't trade a white cabinet for a Betson cab and I still don't think Japan would either, even if the Betson cabs had e-Amusement hardware added back in)

A question that I haven't seen answered yet:
On Extra Stage, do Goods lower the battery lifebar? What about Risky?

Never thought I'd see a C full combo.

So pretty much <insert grade here> FULL COMBO is achievable on some DDR version (E FC was possible on X3 and SN2, SN2 allows E PFC too)
btw I don't know since when DDR does it, but FC and score are treated as different entities in score keeping. You can get like AA on Valkyrie dimension and then get C FC, your score would be AA FC (with the C FC's ring color).

How did 5thMIX do that? because eAmuse based scorekeeping only started since SN/SN2?

eAmusement < Memory Cards
I said "somewhat" since DDR 5th and below, I believe, had the same system where you can FC any song and it would be a AA.

er... what I was talking about was totally different.
Let say suppose you get a score of 990k on some song but it's not a FC, this will show as AAA (alongside the score) on the song select screen.
Then, you play the song again but you get like 988k but it's a FC (say it's a great full combo). Your old 990k score won't be replaced, but the green full combo ring will appear next to the AAA.
also lol "eAmusement < Memory Cards". Sure, I'll trade off an automated, online score-tracking and progress-keeping system for something else that's easily hack-able.

Understandable. I guess we won't find out about it in the U.S. (So Cali at least) for a few more weeks then.
I forgot this is the internet as well as ZIV and I should have clarified myself when I typed "eAmusement < Memory Cards". My fault on that one. I can also L.O.L. at the idea that anyone thinks eAmusement scores/tracker system haven't been hacked (or easily hacked) before.
Continue on with the topic of full combs and game crashing.

oh? I've never heard of people hacking their progress on the eAmusement system. Can you clarify on this? (unless you're talking about PW/PS, then that's a completely different thing and unrelated to what I was talking about)

Everything I Need sounds really good, I always enjoy DDR ballads. Good steps as well. I feel like the first part of the song should be 50 BPM as well, but minor quibble.
Post #1516 · Posted at 2013-04-11 01:38:39am 12.3 years ago
the last measure actually is a not-so-obvious slowdown (multiple bpms) from 100 until it reaches the last 2 notes, being in 50 bpm.

I've noticed this since X2, but only because of the "combo tags" above the jackets. It may have gone further back than that.

Song comments are up on the site. Here they are translated.

Nice to meet you, DDR! My name is Shoccho.
With this song I tried to match the cool image of DDR that I have in my head.
I finished this song while receiving lots of advice from TAG.
Thank you, TAG! Thank you, DDR!
I'm going to keep doing my best from now on, thank you for your support.
- Shoccho

I wanted to create this song with the image of the Andes, though I've never been interested in the region until recently.
The title "Condor" is a simple name that might be part of a REMO-CON-style folklore.
Though the rhythm itself may be a bit hard to take in (laughs)

Dunno if it's been pointed out, but I noticed today that arrows that are Goods don't get struck like Greats and up. They fade and continue pass the receptors like a missed arrow despite being counted towards the combo. It really seems like the decision to make Goods count toward your combo was made at the last minute.
And if anyone was interested in seeing what it looks like to try and boot DDR without an eAmuse connection:

Blurry, yeah. Basically it goes to check the network and when it can't it throws up an error message and hangs there forever. (story time) The arcade lost it's internet connection and every single game that was online started complaining. They tried rebooting one DDR machine to see what would happen and got that. The ones they left on still worked, just with a box on the title screen indicating no eAmuse or Paseli service. Dunno how long they could theoretically operate like that.
